Asian men generally don't have the wrist strength to stay "under" the ball, so rather than "lose face" by learning from an old proficient American that can explain technique they foolishly incorporate the blind-leading-blind training.
ha my ufo bowling is so much better i use a 15lb ebonite maxim. my ball has so many horizontal revs you will ever imagin and im a faster bowler . ur technique is flawed to start of with and ur talking to someone who averages 203.
@limits626 Huh? Who was being sarcastic? The shot works best with maximum deflection, like when a hook or straight shot hits Brooklyn and strikes anyway. Deflection causes the pins to move sideways instead of just depending on the ball to enter sideways and drive through.
I bowl with spinner for now, since I still haven't quite learned how to hook... but even for spinner my ball hooks a lot, strangely. My ball often hits brooklyn and gives me a lot of powerful shots and messengers tripping out the 5 pin etc.

Brilliant. Even though the video is unsteady, some of the camera angles are useful for showing the approach. I've been studying this guy a lot.

the camera man needs to have it firm and steady, it was all ove rthe place!

Interesting! I love how it moves from left to right about 4 boards.

打的不錯唷~~不過後擺持球手掌盡量不要內翻會更好,出手比較不會轉過頭!

Hi I'm not sure if there is a reply to this yet but its proberly because of the way your ball is drilled.
Because for spinners if I'm not wrong the pin setter should at the middle of your hand.
Its what I noticed and also your release, your wrist is broken so if your release is like the guy above than its proberly your ball.
But if you mean a normal hook than I'm not too sure since my is because my hand wasn't broken enough and the axis tilt forward.
