It's not the same fader movements as the "autobahn" Scratch with different baby patterns....
The fast "Autobahn" fader movements are (start closed) open-close-tap (back closed) 3 times with the record pattern (forward-back-forward) three times progressing through the sample.
The "Slow Autobahn" scratch is (open-close-tap-baby-baby) with the record pattern (forward-back-forward-baby-baby)
This scratch fader pattern is (double click - double click - tap)
Yo man, is the one click done to the same rhythm/ speed as the two click? So the combo is the same length as 6 two clicks? or does it have a different timing
Nice video man, I haven't tried to learn scratching as such, just taught myself, but after a while I seem to be at a dead end. Watching shit like this makes me realise I need to lock myself in a room with the ones and twos for a while.
Im struggling with this scratch,I always seem to just end up transforming! I think its the open fader that gets me,so hard when you have been scratching the same way for years!Good work man thanks for the vid!
Thanks man, yeah its just getting my coordination "out of time" so to speak, as for years I have smply just transformed and chirp scratched etc.Its coming togather. But yeah well layed out vid very easy to understand.
At this point Im only learning the patterns but non the less learning them quickly and a prism is a 4click skratch.I am basing this off erikuk's prism skratch video. This is a 10 click combo scratch. "double-double--single-double-double-single.I don't know the name but Im going to be so excited when i can do this fast.
I can't thank you enough for these vids. One 10hr session with yours and erik's progressed me more than I ever have. I just needed a little focus to my clicks and movements.
I have seen Q do this scratch a lot. The way you explained it shows why when I watched I couldnt get the pattern. Not sure of the name but probably one of his secrets...lol.Great Job!
Dope. I got the TTM56 also. Picked it up after the DJM707. I use it in some of my newer vids. I like the 56 more than the 707. The fader feels more comfortable for me
Yea, I like the TTX's a bit better than the 1200's. The 707 is dope, but I added a Rane TTM56 to my set up and after I got used to it, I kinna favor it over the 707. The fader is just real buttery and smooth. the 707 faders are nice too, but they are just so different.
Hey no problem. Glad you got the TTX's! If theres any tricks or tips you want, let me know. Still fairly new to this, but If I know how to do the trick, i'll put it up.
BTW, after time you'll be more than decent. It's all about repetition and never quiting. You can quit for the day if you get frustrated, but jump back on it the next day refreshed.
I still think I sound like sh*t, but thats because your scratching your always looking to be better which is good motivation.
I found you cuz you tagged TTX... I just got a set off of craigslist.
But I subbed you cuz you got mad skills... I am glad I looked up for TTX I think with your vids and some of the other ppls out here on youtube I will have the fundamentals to be able to sound half way decent...
Like how u manage to put those together. Nice job!

not to sure, I think it's pretty much regular double click flares with an extra note between the flares and ant the end of the 2nd flare.

yeah it's triplets ;)
