You seem to be quite bitter and spiteful, and I'm sure you were wounded quite terribly and you've determined that God will be your outlet for the outrage against the injustice you feel. I'm sorry you were hurt so, I can only pray that the healing and peace you so desperatly need you will eventually find. Sad. How can you say anything about the ethics surrounding this without attacking the notion of "discarding" life? If the statistics she cites are correct, that's what we'll run with. Either find a womb for every one of these embryos, let them stay frozen till enough embryos are available, or give them to science. Out with the trash isn't a morally viable option.

I'm glad for Maria's happiness, but this entire debate saddens me.

Congratulations on your beautiful miracle. I agree with much of what you have shared. However, I feel that the very people who have created those embryos, like myself, should have the choice to decide for ourselves what we will do when our family building efforts are completed.
