@TanyaNguyen129 - in the dub, we don't get to see Meilin's character development, or other characters for that matter. Ironically she actually ends up becoming one of Sakura's best friends.
I don't understand the hate for the dub, at least, in terms of character voices. Personally I find the dub voices a lot easier on the ears than the sub, where nearly everyone's voice was super high pitched and really breathy. I guess it's a matter of preference.
Also, to people complaining about Sakura sounding too old here; the voice actress was about eleven herself when this was dubbed back in early '00. It's no Spirited Away, but I think she did a great job for an inexperienced actress.

It's just that this American version sucks. It's all fucked up, not only the opening, but voices and soundtrack (somehow it IS a bit different). Now that I've seen it, I'm really happy that the Brazilian version is extremely similar to the Japanese.

Well meling and syaoran (li for you guys) are cousins. I kow i respect uou guys liking this one. But watch the Animax dub that one was good or the original. In the original Mailing is not a brat and annoying. And syaoran and sakura got together in the original. If you want to see more love scenes and if you want things to make more sense watch the original or Animax dub its better

You're missing out on most of the series if you're only watching this version. That's a lot of loving animation, storytelling and production that just got cut out.

sorry, but after trying to watched the sub, it just turned me off so i'd prefer it in english. besides i'd be better off watching something that i don't have heavily rely on reading.

@MewMewluvable If you don't like it, don't watch it. I personally grew up with the dub, so I can't stand the original voices. Some are like me, and some just want the nostalgia. I personally am happy meanomaly put the dub up since I don't have the DVDs.
