  • Awesome, my heart started beating fater just watching.

  • unreal . i have learned a lot from Steve .

  • Thanks for the useful videos! Top notch as always.

  • This dude did this AFTER his workout. Wow.

  • Steve, do you feel this drill was of benefit to you after looking back at the meet results from the Arnold?

  • Adam, they are useful as a drill to teach timing.

For me personally, it was a way to do the same thing in a different way; so it serves value to get my mind around the timing and lower body movement.

For someone else, it might be a useful way to develop more leg strength. I would put it as an auxillary drill; BB Jump SQ would still be the Gold Standard however as related to KB Jerks, aside from jerks of course, haha

  • Thanks! Showing this to all my students.

  • Awesome drill, Steve. Thanks.

  • Good to see someone finally showing some assistance work for the lifts.

  • Steve,

Firstly, excellent demo, you're an animal! I really like the look of this movement, you're onto something!

I think it has great carry over to the jerk and could be a useful training tool especially for athletes like myself on the brink of moving to a heavier k-bell where that extra explosive power is crucial.

Thanks for sharing, i'll definitely be trying this one out and looking to add it to my current program.

I look forward to seeing you at the Arnold

    cheers,

    Ross

  • Wow Steve, you are an inspiration. Thanks for sharing yourself on video.

  • That's a great demo Steve. Awesome stuff. You make it look really easy especially with the heavy kb's.
