I think, it's played a little bit too fast at the beggining. And she has got destroyed voice. In some moments it sounds horrible. And, yes, she must be tired. But it's the fact of VOICE, not tired. But, anyway, cool song, nice show and awesome bass player! Cheers.

Love Otep to death, but they (Shamaya, specifically) don't seem to do that well live. I'm sure it's the heat and intensity and doing a dozen songs in a row and all that, but she's not a great live performer as I've seen in videos. I've yet to see the band myself, I'm afraid.

Great quality vid, however her vocals are not very good here. But I saw them at a very small club almost 2 years ago, about 50-70 people there, and she sounded amazing there as did the whole band, very tight playing. She must have been sick for this show or had something wrong with her voice cuz she usually sounds better.

They still make good music, not every good band transfers to good live music. Doesn't mean they don't work just as hard as what they do. I don't know why pouring your heart out in recording and being a perfectionist making you sound way better on cd then live is a bad thing. Maybe she was just off this night, this is actually one of the better sounding songs on the dvd... some sound pretty unlistenable. But still they make good music.

if you ask me, they should have gotten someone else who can actually do these songs live, for an official dvd. I mean, the band sounds perfect, but her screams are terrible. and im not bashing the band, cause they make great music, but her screams make this completely hard to enjoy.

yea, i do take that into account. I just think that if your gonna record a live DVD, that your gonna put out as "official" you should be on your A game. Look at other band DVD's. when they know that the show is being taped, they make sure they are on their A game, and they put 110 effort into it. Now, the band always does that, and thats why I like em, but I just feel that she knew she was being taped for a dvd, and she could have actually screamed, instead of screached.

i completely understand that singers have bad days, or get tired after a whole show, but if your gonna present this to your fans as official merch, you should take that into account or AT LEAST, take the audio into the studio and mess with the vox a little. just to make it sound better, so she doesnt kill the whole bands sound, which is what she does here.

i agree completely. i have been a huge OTEP fan for about eight years and i will even agree her voice sounds like shit. Its as if she doesnt even care. What ever happened to my Otep Shamaya from 2002-2004? GOD I MISS THOSE DAYS!!!

yeh somtimes she sounds a little wierd, but on the other side, when she does those lovely screams sometimes(and she got very nice clean parts too live:D), i really love this preformance, well im a really big fan of her too, i love all her "sounds" haha =D
