Thanks for the support. The paramotor in this vid just had enough thrust to get me up and do exactly what you said...switch off and thermal. Its all up weight with fuel was only 12kg and its small cage diameter created hardly any extra drag.
Its one I have built myself and it puts out 33kgs of thrust.
Its a unique propeller design that I came up with myself and puts out way more thrust than any other propeller out there.
I'm currently building a 4 stroke Paramotor that has an all up weight of approx 15kg with fuel and puts out 48kgs of thrust with my propeller design. But best of all, unlike the motor in this video it is extremely quiet. (you can hardly hear it running)

I just finished to build a miniature paramotor based on rc airplane engine, all unit weight is 6kg dry...
