  • @geewizzkids

    yes it meens nothing!

  • @geewizzkids

    yes the word "Nichts" is german it means ( "nichts" = nothing )

  • @buttermuffy

    Neyn, dos vord "nisht" = not

    "gornisht" = northing

    And the language you would associate with this song is Yiddish, not Hochdeutch i.e. standard German. Yiddish is based on Medieval High German.

  • whyat kind of clarinet is he using?

  • It's a Bb clarinet, just made out of metal.

  • so the metal makes it sound different than the plastic one?

  • No, the sound is produced by a wooden reed vibrating in a bakelite or other hard marterial mouthpiece. The body of the intrument just amplifies it. Without the body the mouthpiece sounds like a duck call or predator call. And it certainly sounds like what I get out of my wooden clarinet.

  • @godlordy a regular one it's just spray painted different color.

  • @Gryffindorfreak1990

    Actually, it's not spray painted (who would do that to a clarinet anyway?). This is an old model metal body clarinet. They don't make them this way any more. The good ones are made of ebony, but most student models are made of a plastic called Ebonite. BTW, this guy's playing makes me kvell! Happy Chanukah!

  • @godlordy it is a Bb just looked again defo a Bb
