I love Peter Murphy and I love Bauhaus. I also love the Dali's Car album Peter Murphy did with Mick Karn from Japan after Bauhaus broke up. But I think that this song is little much, a bit too self indulgent and cliche (painted green doors) for me. Just one little man's opinion of course. I love this man's writing and voice; believe me. I saw Bauhaus at the Nokia theatre in Manhattan in 2005 and they were amazing! Don't forget Tones on Tail. I love them too.

Again, This is for me the best song ever of Peter Murphy. The Bauhaus was one of the best bands from the 80'.
