All you guys bashing Marc, remember, ZP was just as pitchy in half the shows AND the guitarists had to downtune live because ZP's voice was having a lot of problems, thus why the band parted ways with him. Marc was pitchy here, I agree, but he hit the high notes and kept up with the band. Remember, he's the kid, used to singing in small pubs and shit; he was incredibly nervous. He seriously improved with each show, just watch the newer live performances.

Only thing that annoys me about the post-marc dragonforce, is that everything seems so.... acted.... whereas when ZP was there (undue comments about voice or not aside) it actually felt like a band was playing, not a bunch of guitarists and a singer, who always seems to me to be the insta-focus of everything simply because he's new.....

One thing I like about their current singer is that when they sing live, they are able to play their songs with the same pitch that they play them in the studio. I was watching an interview with Frédéric Leclerq and Dave Mackintosh on the band's web-site and they were talking about that during part of the interview. With ZP, they had to usually tune their guitars down about half a step when playing live and now they don't have to do that.
