Even if every single industrialized nation reverts itself back to the stone age, it will have a negligable impact on global warming.
Reducing emissions is simply a way for people suffering from guilt to make themselves feel better about the fact that they are enjoying an extravegant lifestyle while most of the planet is living in dirt.
"Yes, I'm 50 pounds overweight and drive an SUV 2 blocks to Whole Foods to get my overpriced organic grocieries, but at least my SUV is a hybrid!"
@heartlessvietboy Let's not forget sexual abstinence and positive attitudes. With those, they can stop dying from STDs and STIs, as well as making it on their own with healthy views of life.
and i most important thing is ,education. why? if your poor don t do 6 children to die and suffer. there politcians love curruption aswell. all the world shoulb be as one, we are not the country we live, we created and labeled, this is .... my country. we are the people of the world. and our neighbours are suffering .
i have a small book, on make poverty history, it is very interesting. i feel bad, reay bad. everyone practice and fight for their religion, while they should do the action too. there is a difference by saying like i m doing now, i m sorry. ok. and no action for these people, begging to survive.
My country is basically poor but there are others ones like african countries which deserves more help from the richest countries . hope someday this will change .
These changes you are talking about have to be done by the people living in those poor countries. No matter how much aid that rich countries give, its not gonna make a real difference unless the people in those poorer countries demand change, and are willing to fight for it.
Did you know that if the G8 were to donate just 0.7% of the GNP, they could eliminate poverty all around the world.
The G8 should also try doing what the U.S. did with Japan after dropping the two bombs... pump money into these impoverished countries, target key areas like India, Afghanistan, Brazil and Haiti.
But I understand their hesitancy because quite often money for aid goes straight into the pockets of corrupt dictators and military juntas rather than to their own starving people.
The G8 are the eight wealthiest countries in the world who control most, if not all of the world's wealth. Currently, they consist of: . United States of America . United Kingdom . France . Germany . Japan . Italy . Canada . Russia As stated in my last post, if they were to give just 0.7% of their GNP, they could eliminate world poverty.
yeah that would be great. all could give 0.7 GNP and still be weatly. hmmmm why dont they do that. if one country has 100 billon dollars they could give a billion to the poor(sure they dont have 100 billion but more AIG had 2.7 trillion in worth before the crises of global drops.(sorry my english isnt that good)
1. It's against their interests. They want to keep the other countries dependant on them; they don't want competition especially if those contries would oppose their interests.
2. Those countries have given billions in aid to poor countries only to have it go into corrupt dictators' pockets or to fund military juntas. That's what happened to most of the money raised by charities.
3. World security. Would you funnel billions to countries like Iran that support terrorism.
I will claim it is not he weather change fault that a lot of countries are facing hunger, starvation, lack of water and so on. The main problem is lack of good government. Corruption can pollute any country, and Africa is a good example of my point. The weather changing is "just" making the problem worse.

We need to help third world countries:
1. Help build homes for them.
2. Help them with farming for food.
3. Help them grow trees for lumber.
4. Help build sea-water to fresh-water plant.
5. We need to express natural disaster preparation.
