1. The greatest number if has ever been
2. The greatest percentage of the world population it has ever been.
If anything, your peoples existence is amongst the most secured. Add the above two facts with the fact that your people, unlike Whites, are permitted to have lands that are exclusively theirs where they can determine their own destiny largely without too much meddling of foreign peoples.

This is something I'm surprised is not common knowledge. I've studied these areas of slavery, but just as back then, today such information is unpopular. This tells me that even history has socio-political agendas that wish to keep people in ignorance. This is unfortunate.
