  • @smokeitalltheway's

I am 50 years old in the year 2011; I grew up in the times you admire; my everyday life was 3 stooges in the morning; went to school, back at 3:30 with homework, and had by my side The Munsters, Adams Family, Leave it to Beaver etc... Fridays, and Saturdays nights were for classic scary movies which even adults loved. Political Correctness, and Open-Mindedness for special interest groups has destroyed America, and we may never see Hollywood like the Classics again! EYE 5

  • There is no body so no evidence ha! ha! ha!

  • @nuckinfuts32330 being 20 right now does suck, but you can make it better by doing what i do, which is living in the time i wish i was born in...i have no specific time, i just take a little of everythng lol. mostly i just stopped being involved with all things new school, i.e the gaga phenomenon, media, the radio, etc. i grew up watching this classic ass AWESOME movie, and my parents loved it, and their parents did, and so will my kids.

  • Darrin and Mrs. Kravitz from Bewitched are in this! Also Dr. Ratton, the guy who invented Hymie from Get Smart! 60's shows are the best!!!

  • This is the first movie I saw in a theater.

  • Far Out! What year is the edsel he's driving? I am looking for the same car!

  • Classic and never forgotten voice from knotts! Rip don knotts

  • Actress Joan Staley appeared in Playboy magazine in the late 1950s.

  • thanks so much for uploading this timeless awesome funny don knotts classic!!!!! I was just watching it last night on the tunner classic movie channel!!!

I think we have it on VHS but not sure really.

  • Oh looky there, one person was deaf/blind.How else could you not like this movie?

  • "I was watching Lawrence Welk and then bang on the head with that"...lmao

  • BANG! RIGHT ON THE HEAD! LOL!

  • Best little brother to big sister gag. I recorded with opening scream with the old gal yelling help police murder murder help.....with all the yelling....tried to keep as much back ground music out of it as possible then called my big sis when she was at work and played it as it recorded to her machine.........Little brother +1.....Big sister.......0 A Classic!!!!

  • is that one of the papas recipe ladies?

  • Don also drove an "Edsel" in the color episodes of the Andy Griffith Show, when he made the occasional guest appearance.

  • I'm in my 50's and grew up watching Don Knotts movies, I'm still a big kid...love the clean, wholesome movies of this era. Thanks for posting it, pls post the Reluctant Astronaut!

  • ok..I heard that Andy Griifin helped write the script to this movie...does anyone know if this is true or not? I see a lot of actors and actresses from the old Andy Griffin show in this movie...so it could be true.

  • This was on TBS in July 1985 when my family got its first VHS VCR. It was the first thing we recorded and the most watched tape in our collection.

RIP Don Knotts and Vic Mizzy.

Yes! That was Otis Campbell. DYK that he was also the voice of the dog in Davey and Goliath.

  • Happy Halloween everyone.

  • 2:01

    R.I.P. Vic Mizzy

  • is that Otis the drunk who gets smacked with the 2 x 4?

  • ATTABOY LUTHER!!!

Id love to see someone put up the old comedy flick Whos minding the mint. Its hella funny.

  • I still practice Don Knotts' Karate style. Nothing gets the job better. hahaha

  • RIP Vic Mizzy. One of the greats!

  • RIP Vic Mizzy. One of the best!

  • Thanks so much for the movie it's one of my all time favorites!!!

  • Thank you for these.Any chance of getting the incredible mr. limpet?

  • don knott's should kick the shit out of everyone at that dinner table!!! who do they think they are!!! he is the "DON"!! oh, and thanks DONKNOTTSFAN for putting this up!!! DO YOU HAVE "HOT LEAD AND COLD FEET"? that movie is bad ass!!! anyway, if you have it, please put it up!! THANKS!!

  • Isn't that Otis Campbell getting "murdered"?

  • Probably. The writers of this movie, Fritzell & Greenbaum, wrote the early episodes of "The Andy Griffith Show". The woman screaming, out the window, as "Otis" gets clubbed is also from the Andy Griffith show -- It's Hope Summers, who played Cora Edwards, Aunt Bee's friend.

  • i think it might have been

  • Yes, it's "Otis!" Being murdered by his wife "Edna June." Crazy!

  • Yeah, and Clara witnessed it!!! LOL!!!

  • yeah, and it also looks like the woman screaming out the window is Clara from the Andy Griffith Show. I guess Don had a lot of help from his AGS friends in this movie.

  • BANG! right on the HEAD!

  • And lest I forget, the most rockn' soundtrack out of the 1960s!!

  • The best Don Knotts film! Thank you so much for putting this up! We loved this when we were kids, and it's one of the few things from childhood I can look back on and still watch with joy!

  • So it was Andy Griffith's idea for the Attaboy Luther guy. I laugh EVERY time I hear that and use it myself to this day. Does anybody know who the voice actor was? I always figured the voice was added post production but I was watching the courtroom scene and it looked kind of like the black guy in the back.

  • Don Knotts stated that the voice for "Attaboy Luther" was the voice of the co-writer of the film Mr.Everitt Greenbaum.Sharing the hit tv show's Munsters personnel with this production were the film's hair stylist and makeup were Larry Germain and Bud Westmore and Vic Mizzy, the music.

  • That "attaboy Luther" guy is probably my favorite all time movie character. Does anybody know who did the voice?

  • It was comedy writer Everett Greenbaum.

  • It was non other then Mel Blanc!

  • His name was Everett Greenbaum.

  • They don't make movies like this anymore.

I just ordered the DVD from the U.S. because it hasn't been released on DVD in Australia. I cna't wait to watch it again.

  • Thank you so much for posting these Don Knotts movies!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • And you can thank Andy of Mayberry (Andy Griffith ) for suggesting the unseen character always yelling "Attaboy Luther !" used throughout the movie ...He suggested the idea to Don and they used it ! Attaboy Andy ! (Heggs has spoken.. and check out the video-"Heggs House of Horror" on the Tube as well...

  • Good info. GinaToy - I loved this when I was much younger!

  • The old Simmons house is actually the Munsters home - on the old tour of the Universal Studios back lot (in California) - this was a featured appearance. Also, on this same street they used houses for Bewitched, Leave to Beaver, My Three Sons, Gidget (with Sally Field), and The Partridge Family - among many more numerous TV shows and movies.

  • A woman in TX had a house built with the exact specs as the Munster house, she loved it and now she lives in it...luckily her husband loves it also.

  • LILLY!

  • I remember seeing this as a kid,This was so hilarious

  • Atta boy Carl!

  • great post I love this film. Anyone notice how the Simmons house looks very familiar?.....Its the same house used in the movie Psycho. TARO TARO SOLOMON!!

  • Its also the same one used in Desperate Housewives that Eva Longoria Parker's character lives in....they also used part of the Munsters house (the front porch)

  • I always wondered where that lady went after she hit him with the board. Was she standing behind the bush the whole time while Luther and that lady were arguing??

  • The same Vic Mizzy who wrote the Green Acres theme.

  • Why are there so many ostriches?

  • Donn Knotts ruelz! I have loved this movie ever since I can remember, like age 6. Although I think my fav is "The Reluctant Astronaut". Why don't movies use original music anymore? It's always from some other band.

BANG! Right on the head!-LOL :D

  • I love this movie!!! Thank you soooo much!

  • What a hilariious movie! I thought his best was "How to Frame a Figg." That organ music used to scare me so bad when I was a kid. "Couldn't get the bloodstains off the keys...not even with Bon Ami." Haha
