AMD users should use busratio=X

where X is your multiplier. You can check your BIOS or your manufacturer to find out this value.

i have a compaq presario cq60 with the latest OFFICIAL bios:

AMD Sempron and everytime i run the disk i get maybe 4 to 6 lines and then pc cuts off and reboots, i've tryed entering "cpus=1 busratio=20, -v cpus= 2, and busratio=20 cpus=2" and it still restarts and suggesttions?

P.S. I also went through bios and ahci is not found PLEASE HELP

You will need to wipe that hard drive or partition if you want to remove os x. If you want to reinstall windows instead, insertt he disc and in the setting of where you choose what partition to put your disc on you have the option to format the hard drive which will wipe apple os x snow leopard.

It will only erases data if you create a partition with space that has already has data written to it. Best to back up your data, nuke your drive completely, install Windows (what ever flavor you desire) and split your HDD into two equal partitions. Then install OSX onto the second partition. When ever your reboot your PC, you'll be asked what partition you wish to boot from. If this doesn't work, you don't have compatible hardware, simple as that!

@707SuperShaun707 Yes you can. After your done with the instillation, download EasyBCD and add OSX as a path. Also if you want to dual boot make sure you set the right partitions so you can install OSX on one and windows 7 on other. thats what i did and it was really easy and now Ive got it triple booted.

@707SuperShaun707 man yes there is a way but its long but youl have dual boot!firstly download mac osx snow leopard iso and burn it into a disk and have your windows 7 ultimate disk ready firstly install mac as first and then windows as second!then download a program called EasyBCD just google it!then make a new entry for mac osx and then restart and in the dual boot menu ull have windows 7 and NTS Mac Snow Leopard!ENJOY! :D

Man! I just wanted to say thank you! It took me about a week of installing and uninstalling to land on the right combo of drivers, but it's running great now. Only problem is no internet. I really don't care though. The main reason I wanted this was for garageband and after a long download of ilife 9, I have it. I watched this video at least twenty times and it helped tremendosly. If anyone is having trouble with this make sure you pay close attention and find every spec of your computer.
