  • If the USA decriminalized drugs, most of the madness would end.

  • I agree with you completely on this.I seems the Vail has been lifted on Obama's PR image. How tragic,it would appear we have all been fooled again.

  • What is the house of Senate? Anyway, I agree with you. The US has been moving towards a total police state since 1970. The war on drugs and the war on terrorism are the two biggest policies that have militarized the police and eroded our constitutionally protected freedoms.

I don't even support the OWS, yet I am absolutely appalled by the abused leashed upon them by the state, even a coordinated 18 city 1 day crackdown. We need to make the powerful afraid of us.

  • @christo930 The American Congress has two branches, the lower branch, the house of representatives, the upper branch, the house of Senators.

  • @SamiZaatari Congress is collectively called a branch, the legislative branch of our 3 branch federal government. I just never ever heard anyone refer to the senate as the house of senate. I have only heard house when referring to the house of representatives.

  • This is rich coming from somebody who's religion, taken to it's ultimate form, would have every society living under a theocratic dictatorship that only recognizes Sharia Law.

You rant on about this, but what are your thoughts on the Taliban?

  • @SamiZaatari TheAmazingAtheist spoke out against the NDAA. I don't know why Pat Condell & Thunderf00t were both silent on it but don't assume they don't care.

  • @DogmasDemise thunderf00t made a video on SOPA, he actually mirrored one, but that was easy to talk about, EVERYONE was speaking up against it, even wikipedia, so he just tagged along, but when it came to the NDAA which most people in the mainstream are not speaking against, he's all quiet.

  • Alhough you spout a whole load of shit on youtube, in this instance I happen to agree with you more than 100%. I have a question though: if there was a law proposed that made the eating of pork illegal in the US would you support it or attack it? This may sound antagonistic but I promise you it isn't.

  • @TommyGuitarful i wouldn't support it, just because i don't want to eat pork doesn't mean others who do want pork can't eat it.

  • I disagree with your views on religion, but your political views are right on! :)

  • @DaFrostyJack it's important to have a system in which we can agree to disagree on spiritual matters.

  • @SamiZaatari Indeed. I'm not a believer, but it's every person's right to believe whatever they want. :)

  • @Megiddon lol, hamzaandreas is a troll account, don't bother replying.

  • @cayetanoluis

    "Sorry, you lost me there."

If americans trust their govenment to do the right thing these laws should not worry them at all. The government will only take those 'terrorists' who are a threat to the people of america, surely that will make american safer. If however, they fear the threat to liberty is greater than the threat of terrorism then they should not buy into the fear-mongering and oppose this move in greater numbers, make it an election issue.

  • @cayetanoluis

"LOL, so in other words, forever."

Yes, so as I said not unconstitutional.

  • It strange that the Arab world and America are going in opposite direction.

America can now what its like living in a oppressive regime.

  • @chugalongway Those countries still have a long way to go. It's like medieval Catholic theocracy with guns. Call back when they've outgrown obsession with policing genitals, policing food, policing clothing, policing thoughts and speech, being sexist against women and killing people that are different.

  • @chugalongway Bit of an exaggeration. Libya was an oppresive regime. Your country is still very free.

  • @ChartreuseDan Most of the oppressive Arab regimes were supported by the west, esp America, Britian and France. Starting with the Sykes–Picot Agreement, which was basically old fashion western style colonialism , all the way to current regime change in Libiya, soon to be Iran , the west has interfered constantly in the M.E. Maybe if the ME could praticise the universal right of self determination then there wouldn't be as much violence in this region of the world.

  • @chugalongway eh... to be honest I'd have to say most of the ME violence is because we gave Israel to the Jews after WWII... not the most popular thing to say, I know, but the impending plausibility of nuclear WWIII is kind of completely on account of the state of Israel's existence and its policy towards its arab neighbours. Besides the point... I still think america is far from a police state.

  • For once you're actually spot on with one of your videos.

  • @RB1US what a stupid question from a stupid ignorant child. We know the reality, its muslims that are gagged and prevented from speaking freely, it muslims that are getting the brunt of the barbaric anti terror laws, it muslims being slaughtered in their millions. But your stupid zionist self wants to convince everyone that one dead zionist equals 100,000 muslims lives. No I am not Arab, I am NOT asian, I see the hypocrisy that reeks in every orafice of zionist controlled yankland .

  • @LiberateUsOfBadHumor Than you're a hate monger.

  • I'm aware. I've been aware.

  • My Lord Jesus you are right! It's almost as bad as the Islamist state of Iran!

  • @Megiddon can you actually bring forward any laws from those nations that state they can hold citizens indefinitely without any charges and no trial.

  • @SamiZaatari

Whoa! Are you now saying that if it is not legal it's okay?

  • @Megiddon so i take that as a no, you can't bring any law where they allow for that. no it doesn't make it ok if it's not legal, but what it does mean is that it's not the state or the system that's bad, but it's a few individuals in power who have decided to act wrongly and go by something that isn't even part of the law. so the difference? in America it's part of the codified system and law, in those other nations, it's not.

  • @SamiZaatari

I don't really now much about the laws in the Palestinian authority, Iran and Dubai. Dubai is part of the UAE and it is seems "The law permits indefinite, routine, incommunicado detention without appeal. Under this procedure, the detainee may contact only an attorney but is not permitted to see friends and family." I have no Idea what that means in practice, although suspects can be detained without charge for 30 days with unlimited 30 day extensions.

  • @SamiZaatari

I think the situation could be described as thus; America needs have this in law because it's civil liberties are so strong (admittedly an oxymoronic statement) whilst other nations' civil liberties are so poor they can completely ignore any protections in law and do as they see fit.

  • Is their a website where people who have been locked away are given a voice, can tell their story (or their families can). We need to be made aware of "live" cases, as they happen and their background.

  • You da man, Sami :)

  • @Megiddon - Besides, no one ever claimed those countries you mentioned were democratic and whatnot, the US on the other hand considers itself a democratic country, so at least hold yourself to your own standards and don't point the finger at someone else that you claim is more backward than you are and say "But they are doing it tooo!!!"

  • @Megiddon - That's the usual deflective answer by you people. Sami isn't living in either of those states, and how do you know Sami doesn't object to that kind of behavior there?? But what? is he now supposed to go around looking for every injustice being done in the world and make a video about it for him to be able to speak out about current events?

  • @SamiZaatari This is utterly terrifying. I'm going mirror this video, this I really do care about freedom!

  • man, this is crazy!!! usa is going down a really slipper slope here.. i mean, will it happen that one of these days women will need 4 male witnesses to testify her innocence??

  • @kublaikhan35 you mean will they need 4 jews or investment bankers to testify her innocence.

  • @SPEAKTRUTHALWAYS

    lol touche.

  • With this signing, Obama has crossed the line from accommodationist to collaborator with the oppressor.

He expects us to trust him not to use this power. Does he expect us to trust the next president? He used to teach constitutional law. He seems to have forgotten why we /have/ a constitution in the first place. We aren't /supposed/ to trust the government.

  • Obama = Stalin = Hitler = Ceaser = Firaun...

  • I am 100% certain that the Muslims will be the target of this law exactly like the Israeli oppressive laws which target the Palestinians.

  • Freethymind funderfoot wont dare to expose his own secular non religious constitution

  • Had this kind of bill been.passed in a muslim country like saudia arabia you would see how badly the islamphobes will bash islam and shariah law. Yes america is now coming open with nwo control the masses unjustly.

  • YA, where is thunderfoot's opinion on this?! hypocrites, man.

  • im laughing at america the so called "Greatest (Worst) Nation on Earth" haaaahahahahaha

looks like the New World Order is starting to come in place with america being first :)

im just glad im not living in america!

  • @frid9999 - "maybe, just maybe, aisha wasn't really 9 when..." Amazing deduction skills Sherlock, instead of actually addressing the point I raise you try to turn the tables by twisting what I said to me something that I didn't say or imply. Very effecting debating maneuver. Except it shows you for what you are, a mere hater who doesn't have the first clue about how to prove his point.

  • @frid9999 - And it's not "Khalifa" it's "Khilahaf" - Khalifah would be the ruler, and again, Khilafah is not a police state, but then again debating that can't be done in this small comment area. True Islamic Khilahaf which only occurred during the very early beginning of Islamic existence after the prophet died, was a whole lot better than the way democracy is being applied now, and it was anything but a police state.

  • @psychlopes1976 You are trying to claim that a 9 year old child is not a child - that muhammed did not fuck a child. And why do you refer to the fucking of this child as just "marriage" - you can't even bring yourself to say the words. Why do gloss over the facts? You must agree with me that what muhammed did, fucking a child, is wrong. You must be ashamed of muhammed's behaviour.

Stop it. Just stop it. You are embarrassing yourself and exposing your religion for me.

  • @frid9999 - No, throughout history, a girl or a boy who enters puberty stops being a child and becomes an adult, it's only in the last 100 years that these norms were changed to consider the age of reason well above that age. And it really amazes me how atheists speak about relative morality, and then point the finger at our prophet for "Marrying" which is what he did.someone who at the time when he did it was considered at a suitable age for marriage. (cont)

  • @frid9999 - And I'm not embarrassed nor ashamed of what the prophet did, the only thing that changed from that time until now is that the norms have changed so as marriage for a person before finishing education is frowned upon, but that doesn't make the marriage that took place 1400 years ago to be void or evil. (cont)

  • @frid9999 - For a "critical thinker" you truly fail on a catastrophic level in thinking outside of your hatreds and phobia toward Muslims and Islam.

  • @psychlopes1976 ignore this idiot, he's a disinfo agent, he's coming here trying to divert attention away from the main topic as a typical disinfo douche often does, there's an actual law that just passed which i discussed, this is real, happening, and this idiot starts coming here to bash Muslims and Islam, so ignore the cockroach and don't give it time because that's what he wants, to divert away from the real issues at hand.

  • Don't forget, this new law does not recognize jurisdiction, that means you can be arrested anywhere in the world by the Americans.

  • The only video I seen from an atheist is TheAmazingAtheist. He talks about NDAA

  • can you defend yourself if they capture somebody ..i want to run away form a fake loan i have someplace in ASIA

  • YOU ARE MY HERO!

  • Anyone who did not understand the danger of NDAA ... can no longer use that as an excuse. Well said.

  • I can't overstate how spot-on this video is.

  • This is probably my favorite of all your videos that I have seen.

The law is complete bullcrap. This wouldn't be so bad if the military had to give the suspect a civillian trial, as the CONSTITUTION commands, but the fact that they can hold you indefinitely is simply outrages. I have been furious about this bill since I heard about it. The law is so incredibly unconstitutional it makes any military officer who follows through with its application a criminal, according to the constitutional.

  • to be honest, there really is NO freedom in the west. the ONLY aspect where we are allowed freedom is when it comes to enjoyment and entertainment like having sexual partners, activities such as womanising, gambling, watching explicit entertainment etc etc. thats about the only "freedom" we have.

the west is actually riddled with many injustices which r swept under the carpet from the public.

  • Al-Qaeda is US intelligence. NATO just installed Al-Qaeda in Libya.

  • USA Gov/Democracy is 2 Wolves (Corporate-Slave Israel-Slave Money-Slave War-Addicted Neocon Dems/DNC and Corporate-Slave Israel-Slave Money-Slave War-Addicted Neocon Repubs/RNC) and a Sheep (American People) deciding on who to eat for dinner.

  • V for vendetta was such a prophetic movie... Its quite horrible that world is heading this way, though.

  • its not the first time the US has done that, when the japanese attacked pearl harper, the president issued an order to gather all american of japanese origin into prison camps prepared specially for them. what first is the fact that it has been made into law.

what funny is they didn't do that when 9/11 happened, which means they're losing their "war on terror". its becoming a desperate world war where laws are nothing but obstacles.

  • @tudungsenduk

Our hero Ron Paul should must win!

  • Yeah that's pretty scary I'm glad I don't live in USA

  • @CMO999 this law doesn't only affect people in america, this bill gives the government the authority to arrest and detain ANYBODY whom they feel is a threat, so you can be outside America and they can still detain you, through rendition, and throw you away at some secret military detention. this law simply broadens that power to now also include Americans. see how they do it? they start with the evil bad foreigner, then use the laws against their own people. :)

  • @SamiZaatari Sami what if this video pisses the American government off?

  • @soltbolz ;-) you have to have some courage to speak up, or then you've already become a slave.

  • @soltbolz i'm exercising my constitutional rights as an American in this video.

  • @SamiZaatari I'm sure my government (Canadian) would make a stink about it if they detained Canadian citizens.

  • @SamiZaatari Even.......even Canada....?

  • @TheDepthsoftheAbyss

Yep even Canada. There has already been a Canadian detained without trial. On top of that the Canadian in prison was a kid when he was thrown into Guantanamo.

  • @CMO999 most of the people that been indefinitely detained by America were captured outside America.

  • @SamiZaatari Egypt has been a Police State for more then 32 years and it all started with a bill like this one which gave the police the power to do whatever they want and arrest whoever they want with no jugment and slowly took away the peoples rights until there was none. thus a lot of Americans were against Egyptians out throwing their Government and replacing it with an Islamic Government they totally forgot their own country and government which is dropping them into the same hole.

  • مافي ترجمه للعربي ؟

  • That means if they want to torture ANY Muslim they can! The Dajjal will use this.

  • @HaligonianType1 Heaven help you - Stay Strong !

  • @hamzah938 Assalaamu alaikum ahki... JazakhAllah khair... =-}

  • @HaligonianType1 wow that explains so much.

  • I got a speeding ticket today this is such a police state!!! Even though I was speeding. You spoiled Americans have no idea what it means to live in a police state or trukyly suffer.
