I can't say I am the biggest stern fan because I have never paid for his service. I really have no right to complain. I have just been a casual fan for 20+ years.. But I gotta throw my 2 cents in here..
This guy doesn't give a shit at all about making compelling radio anymore. 90% of Howard that I listen to now "only on youtube".. I just wonder what the hell I am listening to..
Good for him for getting paid but he is clearly not into this anymore.
Great story. No one will ever give the description he did of this night. If you don't like it, don't listen. There's no way he will renew his contract after this. We will lose the greatest radio host of all time. Stop complaining and enjoy.
He's on another 2 week vacation.hampton howie takes more vacations than anyone in history.and his subscribers are paying for a phantom service.its truly became a joke.I blame the cockgobblers who paid him 500 mill.he dont care anymore. WHY CARE.hes 60 hes rich, hes hampton howie.if he made a normal salary.i bet he would actually care what his fans thought
@highonbetter In December of last year Howard Stern was seriously considering leaving the radio permanently. After a more than 30 year career in radio he felt tired of getting up every morning at 4 am. Instead of leaving, which would have saddened many hardcore fans of the show, he made a deal with Sirius to stay on for another 5 years. While he number of shows has been decreased, some Howard is far better than no Howard. Be grateful he's on at all. He doesn't owe anything to you.
@grindhouse141 He didnt stay for his fans .he stayed for the money.he dont care about his hardcore fans so i dont care about him.he shoulda quit.instead of offering a monthly paid service and not fulfilling his service.howard tv blows.we get 1 new show tues, wed, thurs.thats it!!! I hope him and beth are having fun during these 2 weeks.but hey hampton howie. what about your fans?
@highonbetter Well, it sounds like its time for you and Howard to part ways. So tomorrow you'll cancel your Sirius subscription and that will be the end of it.
@grindhouse141 I usually don't reply to a person months after they comment, but I couldn't resist. I couldn't agree more with your comment. It's laughable how people feel he owes them something. Would I prefer he kept his old days/hrs? Sure, but anyone who is a true fan is aware that at this point Howard's days are numbered and we should remember that.
@BonerJams7 not that I'm aware of but he never really mentioned the guy at all until after the last party when he wasn't invited. And he made that comment about how Don's old and probably wouldn't be interested in hanging with that crowd.
OMG Robin never stops laughing.

Jesus. Couldn't even make it past the ten minute mark... this is like listening to a phone conversation between Robin and Howie.
Actually, no, fuck that. It isn't *like* that. It *is* that. Whatever Howard had, it's gone. And I miss it. :(

When did Don suddenly become Howard's hero? It seems like he's laying on the compliments a bit too thick.

@DGoose33 Yeah, Howard's really toned down over the years. It happens to us all though. I'm only 30 nut I'm not a crazy as I used to be. lol

@DGoose33 Howard has said many times over the years that Rickles was one of his comedy heroes growing up.
