Its sad of you to base your argument on "prospects" in the EARLY part of the season, and then go on about how they are better because of what happend 20 years ago.

My argument is that you shouldnt date your argument back to a hundred years ago, only to avoid the current SOLID evidence (a catagory "prospects" wouldnt be under) that the leafs are at a higher level as far as points.

obviously you dont know what a prospect is. You can never say with any full certainty that they can succeed or fail. Hence while they are called prospects. The only way to see in a real season. And that, they have not done. So, what have you got for better evidence? Statistics that I provided, showing very clearly that CURRENTLY the leafs are playing a better hockey team.

There is a whole new set of players for both teams. Stop bringing up the glory days, move on to the current time here. Where the leafs ARE a better team, the statistics being more accurate than of yours. Dating back to the early 1900's

I always enjoy debating with a Canadien fan.

Especialy when they dont realize that we didnt just get jason blake, but also a very talented goalie.

And you think the montreal canadiens are more superior than the leafs?

Look at the stats BUD, the most recent ones show very clearly that the leafs are a better hockey club (please look at the points). Not to mention the canadiens were beat by the leafs the last game they had.
