... good song.. drumming solid..I far preferred All Mod Cons to Settings Sons... which sounds a little too rocky, not melodic enough ....and then then album after with Start is even less good..
i'm glad i was 16 then. i thought i was cool coz i was buzzin of the jam, other kids in me class was into iron maiden an shite like that. we knew what was that, the footy lads, travelling scallies, lovely memories.
@geordielass665 There are a few 30+ yr fans of the Jam in Canada. Wasn't fortunate enough to see the original but managed to catch From The Jam in NYC a couple of years ago, still a wicked show.
great vid, when TOTP, wasnt that bad, or was it, i rem this, great times, great song, Weller still the angry ( young man ) . thank god, he still got passion, saw him IOW, was fantastic, roll on the autumn tour
Rank this alongside Man in the Corner Shop Tube Station and That's Entertainment. Timeless and Weller only 21 at the time. Unbelievable. Long live The Jam !!!!!!!!!!! I'm oh so glad the revolutions here ......
thats a bit strong Captain Bum fluff ! but yes Mods wern't my best mates back in the day . But most Skins liked the Jam ( we just kept it quite) N.A.S North Arrow Skins . those were the days.
I think Foxton was devastated at the break up, or Weller wanting to move in a different musical direction, shame he did I think.Classic stuff, the Jam at their finest.oi oi
Foxton has the worst hair EVER!

Setting Sons, to me, was way more solid and consistent. There's a ton of tracks on All Mod Cons that I'd skip.

@megaforcemedia What? What are you talking about? All Mod Cons was a masterpiece, but so was Setting Sons. Sound Affects was brilliant as well

@megaforcemedia All Mod Cons was a better album imo.

best bit @ 2:20, when Foxton and Weller share the mic -- I remember when they used to be mates, or at least seemed to -- great clip, cheers....
