Ohh lol, i got it on Launch Day and got RROD 3 years later, so was one of the very happy ones becoouse that gave me the chance to then get the new 60gig in September last year ^.^

I got the Core Xbox 360 too, thought i would have no chance of getting one here in London, England so did not bother, then on my way to work i poped into Vergin Megastore at 9:20am and the guy at the counter said we still got them wowowwoww. Man, that was the longest work day ever waiting to get home so i could start playing ^.^

i could have used other music, yeah sure. But I figure the xbox brand is best known for that Halo game (admit it). Anyway I was time constrained in putting this together so i didn't put too much thought into music selection. That being said, i have no regrets and i'm happy with how this turn out. if you asked me that when i bought it last year, i would have said no. but NOW, i say it's well worth it! cool games like gears of war, lost oddesy, mass effect, and the most exciting game for me: assassin's creed are all coming for 360. finally i feel like my admittedly large purchase has been validated. Oh, and don't forget about Halo!! if your not sold on blu-ray, 360 is a waaaay better value than ps3. wii's a different story. i can go on and on but i won't, just get a 360. i did!!

the core tard is the cheaper Xbox360. also called the gimp package and just tard pack. I.e. its sucks because, although cheaper, it has nowhere near the same amount as features as the premium package and is not worth it to upgrade seperately.

First off, It was really freakin cold. I would have had more outdoor footage if my fingers hadn't actually frozen. We only waited 2 hours at one store (zehrs). Costco was another 2 1/2 hours and there was a futureshop we waited at for a little while. It was hard. No we didn't camp over night or anything like that. We were deperate....not stupid.

i got my premium pack at 12:01 on november 22nd. at our school, i got an award for being the only one to have one. also, i convinced them to let me bring it to computer lab one day and "teach" everyone about it.

One thing though - did you have to ask for copyright to use some of the footage (the ad + game footage and songs) Because im doing media at college and whenever I want to use a song or a game trailer I have to send loads of e-mails asking if I can use them. Its a pain to say the least...

i didn't worry about any copyright issues and didn't didn't really contact anyone to use their material. I just thought of this as a hobby-ish fan video...done for media class. It's not for commercial means so i think it's ok. Only i'm not sure if i can use it as part of a video portfolio.  I'll have to look into that. thanx for the comment!

Thanks man! actually i did get one! i had one reserved at EB way before but they didn't have enough units at first. I was planning to sell the one i would have gotten in the video on ebay, make some sweet cash. Yes, evil i know. but that didn't work out and i kept the EB one. Funny thing! The two that scott and andre got from costco were defective!! Glad I dodged that bullit!
