So this doesn't work. Unless there are settings that aren't disclosed, as of patch 2.04 I cannot get the car to go fast enough to win. He rubs against the wall and loses any semblance of going fast. I've tried both the x2010 and the x2011, and neither gets even close to winning.

Ive tweaked the controller sensativity as well as trying to carefully place the left thumb stick so it doesnt' go too far to the right, to no avail.

It must have been patched, I guess.

I havent played GT5 for like 3 years now. but just bought another PS3 with GT5 Bundled, GT5 Signature edition and GT5 Steering wheel bundled with game again. I drive 150-400hp mostly and try to break my records on the Ring after i sped houres of set up.

Sadly i dont play online that much, because every1 prefers to use 100hp+ carswith full slicks and unrealistic gamesettings, while they try to crash me.. :(

Its so much easier to do... just put the rubberband around the throttle go all around the controller (not just the connector so you can do it without charging it, if you do it long you should charge) and make the turn stick point down instead of up. then put your controller on the enter-key and ur done. Or for people without a USB keyboard, tape X pressed on the controller. (haven't tried it but it should work). But you should just enjoy the game and earn cash the normal way tbh. Seasonals ftw!
