untill recently, popular sports were,mainly, figting ones: boxing and wrestling(it is actually a national sport). We are very good with boxing, have no clue why. Kazakhstanian boxers are very much respected and recognized in a boxing world. But nowadays, soccer(playing in european league)and cycling(Tour de France elite cyclists)sports are becoming very very popular

hey, what are you talking about? chinese and japanese are totally different etnical groups. yeah, they are close to koreans, but not to chineses. even their language - it has altaic origin, the grammar system is as in korean, turkic, mongolian languages. they tried to use only chinese characters, but it was impossible, chinese is too different language. that's why japaneses had to create their own hiragana and katakana alphabets as addition to kanji (chinese characters).
