You can delete your new channel layout to the old one. Just click on; edit channel

And you see the button.

For a year or so I gathered all my favorite/best songs ever in a playlist in OLD YOUTUBE and I set the playlist to private (only i could use/see). Now the playlist is gone, I can tell it to display the playlist (eventhough i would like it to be private) it wont show it.

As an Art director of 25 years with a BFA in communication design, I think I have a valid opinion on this one. YOU TUBE BETA JUST PLAIN SUCKS, End of debate.

You Tube just lies about it too! This is a LESS personalized option, not MORE, it's far more difficult to navigate. Not just ugly, it's like rummaging through crap in card board boxes, very inefficient! Obviously Beta is a cost/bandwidth efficiency measure, but it's definitely not an effective "design" at all.

New is not always better. If it aint broke dont fix it! The old lay out is far superior, the new one looks like a big mess to me and starts playing videos automatically without your permission when you visit someone profile which is really annoying. Its hard to search for things or make out what anything is. It may look pretty to you but its not practical like the old lay out. Just my opinion :)
