  • can u do a

    narcissist vs sociopath

  • They should definitely come up with a "merged" category going forward. I can attest first hand, this hybrid is ALIVE and WELL amongst us and it is clothed like a villain in the night.

I can not thank you enough from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to do these tapes. They are invaluable. Rare is the therapist who has any worthwhile practical experience or in depth knowledge of this condition. I only wish I had discovered them years ago.

    Peace be with you~

  • I used to wonder if Steve Jobs was a psychopath or a narcissist. Now, it is clear as day he was a narcissist. Thank you.

  • this video is accurate. i'd like to add that a narcissist is so arrogant that they would play rite into the hands of a psychopath. i cant lie, it warms my heart to see the look on their conniving shit bag faces when they figure it out

  • i think i have around 7 stages of npd still waiting for help and advice no one seems to know any thing about my disorder could you help

  • ohh! ohh! ohh! yes ohh! poetry... ahah!

  • My parents are psychopaths. As I was growing up, even before I "knew" I was abused (abused happened to other people, not me!) I knew in my gut something was very very wrong and I was always afraid of turning out like them, or worse, being "inherently" evil. I isolated myself for many years. But I am *not* like them. What has helped me almost as much as therapy is my pets. Unlike people, who I am always on "guard" around, I can relax around my pets. I love them. Animals can be amazing healers.

  • Is it common to see both narcissist and sociopath behavior in the same person?

  • why cant i be both?

  • psychology has done a good job of describing psychopaths, but it would be interesting to find out where the hostility comes from. To be hostile you have to regard some other as contemptible. And I think it's impossible to hold someone in contempt without seeing them first as an OTHER, as differentiated. This means psychopaths are first aware of being separated or alienated (I would think).

  • @johnuio Psychopaths are incapable of effectively extracting semantic and affective information from words, images and sounds. They live their life on autopilot.Imagine tying your shoes.Thats how their brain is non-stop.The can't even begin to care about things. They may say they have a moral, but they're just repeating what their parents taught them. They don't really care about anything or anyone. They don't manipulate on purpose,as they don't grasp the deep meaning of anything, they're like animals.

  • @Hivoyer animals do care about others, their young for example - I've seen our family's cat take great care over her kittens & attack a dog much bigger than her (where she risked serious harm to herself) in order to protect them. Also consider groups of elephants walking, where the older ones enclose the younger ones in order to shelter them... the list goes on. I think you underestimate other beings - it's called speciesism. It would also be interesting to know your definition of 'animal'.

  • @Hivoyer I agree that they are on autopilot, but I disagree that they are like animals. My dog has shown me more caring in one year than my hubby of 19. I left 4 years ago, but just discovered that I was dealing with a narcissistic psychopath all along. The "good" Terminator 2- that's my husband. Programmed by his mother to act helpful, but he lacks the ability to feel the goodness of it. Every day he needs tweaking. If I question any action, he blames somebody else if he thinks he did wrong.

  • @Hivoyer True. They're like animals or alien beings. But not true humans. I don't know how much research ppl have done on the subject, but there is enough documented facts to support the theory that the human gene pool has been corrupt for thousands of years now. Based on my own studies, I'm convinced that other life forms interbreeded with humans long ago. I think the physio-cerebral differences in Psychopaths is evidence of this. ''Science'' is just behind in proving it.

  • @Hivoyer just one correction " ,they're like animals" is not right because animals care animals have emotions ...better would be to say they are like machines

  • @johnuio Narcissists on the other hand have stunted personality development in early age.Children are born needy and self-centered.Most of them learn to value other people trough the parent-child relationship, but if raised in an abusive family, they might not develop this mechanism and remain childish(narcissistic) for the rest of their life.I think Sam actually explained this when he talked about Obama's childhood.

  • @Hivoyer --> right... i think it's hard to understand these disorders without thinking of it as radical or acute immaturity, which actually makes a lot of sense...

  • @johnuio Remember this, one thing that Psychopaths do is 'project' their own fowlness onto other ppl. So the ''contempt'' that you assume the Psycho sees in others is actually the Psycho's own contemptableness. Yes Psychopaths see others as 'an-other'; 'another' source of Narcissistic Supply, or a hinderance to that supply. Rage and Hostility is an inherent part of evil. Evil is always vehement against innocence and benevolence in humans. Psychos are not fully human; they're aliens.

  • The difference? Ah... one engages in criminal activity and the other strives to stay within the law sothey are not caught? One requires adulation... the other simply abuses with no concern or need for anything in return. He just has fun beating the cr*p out of people mentally and physically. IMO

  • I always wondered if consciousness altering "drugs" like Iboga, LSD and mushrooms, could "cure" psychopaths and that mabey the property in those types of "drugs" that increase your ability to empathise with others, could possibly have any effect on the psychopath's inability to do this...

  • @o0OMarijuanaO0o

I have wondered this too actually.

I think in the end they will just have a terrible and horrifying trip in store for them lol These people typically can not ever be cured, unfortunately.

  • @o0OMarijuanaO0o A friend of mine is a psychopath and he finds he can empathize while on MDMA. Psychedelics seemed to give him some perspective.

He's more outwardly psychopathic these days rather than hiding behind that icey mask of his. Recently I expressed frustrated Ive been with women in the past year, and he spent the next few days bragging about all the crazy sex he was getting. I just told him "I know what you're doing and it will never, ever work on me" and he stopped LOL.

  • @o0OMarijuanaO0o As a narcissist (oddly, psychopathic friend gives me narcissistic supply--his jealousy feeds me) I found psychedelics have helped me. I would admit to being a narcissist before, but not seriously or deeply. It wasn't until psychedelics (LSD, 4-aco-dmt, mushrooms, 2c-e, 2c-i, etc) that I began to truly understand my internal thought processes.

Now, I'm simply honest with my emotions as a narcissist. I have the symptoms without the delusion... odd.

  • you forgot Borderline PD Sam... they are right up there too...

  • why is this so interesting.........o.O.

  • "Narcissist or Psychopath? What Are the Differences?"

They are simply evil manifested in different personality types. Tho the stench of their decay differs, it is rot none the less.

  • @EternalFuu u are a douche isnt that evil enough? why u hatin? not all all killers.

  • @EternalFuu aww i bet narcisists saw your comment and you made them worse. deep down narcists are extremely insecure and know they are useless garbage.

  • @DropDeadCouture It okay,u fall for them anyways ;)

  • @EternalFuu All psychopaths are narcissists but some narcissists are not psychopaths. They are less extreme and are made not born. Psychopaths are born.

  • @EternalFuu Humans and their puritanism. It's inseperable like rodent and simple dirt.

  • I don't know what to do.

  • I like ur vids tho, cant stress it enough...

  • Why do u scientists not think 2 or more different psychological malfunctions cant exist at once? normal people are a blend of all psychological disorders.... normal people just dont become fearful or excited by how they think... you believe you are sane, therefore you are already half crazy.... Youll hear more from me when I get out of colledge.... when I finally go......

  • @SpiritGobbler

Figuring out the differences between psychopaths and narcissists is simply an academic question. They're just different colors and textures of living shit and, like all shit, they're most valuable as fertilizer. Just my 2 cents.
