This song reminds me of an ex... He hurt me. But I thank him, it's made me a stronger person. Now I know not to let someone treat me the way he did.

As a girl that is growing up with split up parents and siblings that don't care for her, I know what it is like to have a broken wing, and with every fight and every disagreement, I get another feather ripped out of my wings, and then I met him, the complete opposite of the man in the story, this boy came with glue and chocolates :) He helped me glue the feathers back on and he helped me eat the chocolates, and he will forever be on my mind...
