  • thumbs up if you think it's impossible to sing old school hip hop after 2005 ... Yet they did it!

  • Rap is like wine. The older, the better.

  • @Boatz7s Lol I could've sworn that said "Rape is like wine. The older, the better."

  • @AureoFox lololololrape

  • @AureoFox

    That's not funny

  • @Boatz7s I agree if you're referring to their ages. But this song is only like 5 years old so it's not old that's for sure. But it's a sick ass song no doubt.

  • rest in peace one of my favourites producers

  • I've had this song on repeat all day, god damn I can't get enough of thisss

  • Respect comes from doing the right thing not from your bling, your hood rep or any other shenanigans. Rapping foul language does not earn you respect. Start acting civilized and moral and you will find respect. Respect is for those who conform to societies standards not for those who destroy society.

  • The hardest gangsta & hardcore rappers & mc's like Scarface, M.O.P., Bumpy Knuckles, Styles P, Hell Rell etc. respect De La Soul Just ask them. So we need people like this to still be relevant. Just listen to the way they ride the beat. Sounds like kings don't they. That's a statement.

  • wow. I love hip hop.

  • this is a really great album but ive been waiting for the 3rd installment of the AOI series since Bionix dropped. has anyone heard anything? Are they gonna do another one? At the end of trying people it says "please install part 3", or something like that. Then the next album was the Grind Date, which I love but was really loving where they were going with the AOI series. Can someone help?

  • @MrStockford1 I've seen an interview where Dave said that a 3rd AOI was on preparation and if everything is all right i'ts gonna be drop on 2012 (sorry for my english)

  • @chakabantou thank you, i hope they do. another AOI album would be like the beatles getting back together to me. most consistent, most underrated and underappreciated rap group in the industry. real grown up stuff, and since i grew up on de la, we've grown up together. and for the record, you're english is fine. better than alot of people who speak it as a first language. thanks again.

  • @Znn00. Dude wtf did you even say? It makes no fuckin sense, but I guess that's what's "in" now..

  • hey its everywhere this commecail mainstream shit , i live in canada and evrybodys listens 2 drake the fake .. its sad

  • who made the beat?

  • @calledamen supa dave west - no one knows

  • @calledamen Supa Dave West produced this joint.

  • did jay produce this

  • @ktroy1000 Supa Dave West produced this joint.

  • this is just so addictin and out of the world

  • Yall,ve Heard How Folks Say, "History Repeats Itself?" Well, I Cannot Wait And Hopefully It Wont Be Long Before Hip-Hop Goes Back To The Style And Sounds Like This. Back In The Day Such As De La Soul, Tribe Called Quest, Common, Talib Kweli, Outkast, Goodie Mob, You Know? Back In The Day When One Would Jump In Their Car, Drive From One Side Of Town To The Other And With EVERY Song Be Like, "Ohhhh, This My Sh*t!!" Without Changing The Station. I'm Glad I Didnt Miss Hip-Hop Gloriful Days!!!

  • @WuTangMan3699 AMEN!!!!

  • @WuTangMan3699 Yea but the BEST GROUP IN IMO ISNT NWA IS WU SSUUEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

  • @WuTangMan3699 It's mainly just fashion that repeats itself, and I don't think I'd like for hip hop music being the most fashionable thing, because I'm against snobby trends and doublefaced conformists.

  • @WuTangMan3699

We have to finance it.We began to steal the music and we stopped financing real Hip Hop.We have to call the radio stations and make requests. We hurt our selves the Artist and the music that we enjoy by stealing it.

  • @WuTangMan3699 Well said my man, very well said. Gotta add Wu-Tang, Nas, Big Pun, EARLY Jay-z/Em, BIG/PAC, early bone thugs (E1999 is a tight album), Big L got 1 song on the radio, Roots, Pharoahe Monch (Simon Says @ least made the radio in 99 & Organized Konfusion did in the early 90s), early Mobb Deep (Shook Ones is classic), Gangstarr, KRS, Juice Crew, Scarface, 8ball & MJG, UGK (along w/ Outkast that proves that south was tight @ one point. NOW CunninLynguists is all i check 4 down south)

  • @WuTangMan3699 I don't understand. Isn't this hip hop? Hip hop is like this, because it is this. I don't really care what is mainstream, it's actually better that the music I like isn't mainstream, because I want the artists to be real. and when there less money in it, it won't be played like a gimmick. But I still listen to mainstream music if it's any good. "Back in the day like De La Soul"? They're still around, this song was released but two years ago. Don't be a musical jerk, have respect.

  • @WuTangMan3699 its on the rise, check out underground hip hop

  • @WuTangMan3699 You forgot a great part, which is actually your username. Wu-Tang Is Forever. Had to say it! Amazing comment btw bra

  • @WuTangMan3699 I think the problem is that radio only plays dancefloor rap cause that's what sells to the mass they need togive love to the "underground" cause soo much good comes out that goes unnoticed and overlooked...people don't want to bob they're heads anymore, they just want girls taking off they're clothes....I love seeing girls take off they're clothes but damn!! they forgot about the rhythm!! wax will never die too...all the good stuff prevails one way or another!!

  • @WuTangMan3699 its repeating itsself right now. the worst time for hiphop (2000-2010) ist over. 2010 we started a new era. the era of kids like kid daytona, f stokes, coolroy or even kid cudi. i call this the time of mashup hiphop, mixing all the best things that music gave us in the past 100 years. just take all the good there was and make something new out of it, maybe it will be even better.

    the gloriful days r back!

  • @WuTangMan3699 it's coming back son now worries and J. Cole, Jay Electronica, Elzhi, & Joell Ortiz are some of the ones who are making it happen

  • @WuTangMan3699 I totally agree, but... someone needs to learn how to deal with capital letters.

  • RIP Dilla

  • Much Respect from France! this is music

  • fuck them 8 haters

  • So Far I Come To Find Theres No One here Quite This-

    No one Like Jay

  • who you finna try sounds better than this gay happy shit

  • @Znn00 shut the fuck up

  • @Znn00 was that even english? dont bother translating cuz i doubt your thoughts are worth hearing

  • @earthlingdad It's hip hop, not rap. Yup, there's a difference. Almost all indie hip hop should appeal to you then.

  • @greenpeacemyass rap is something you do, hip hop is what you live, the lifestyle, the culmination of the arts from the awesome renaissance of the streets. I got the opportunity to listen to DMC talk about this just last night. Spread love, spread peace, spread education, spread the evolution, not this weak garbage we have now.

  • this group and another group like them I always have a problem remembering their names for some reason I used to have multiple albums by both groups but for whatever reason(probably mind control related) I always have a problem recalling their names

  • @verdemanthe1 Its a tribe called quest why the fuck cant I ever remember a tribe called quest and de la soul, its gotta be the record companies systematically erasing them from our consciousness to replace them with name brand corporate cookie cutter "artists"

  • Nice !!

  • i love them there music is what old rap is about, all day baby, keep rocking it

  • the first time I've listened to this song I've instantly fallen in luv with it

  • where can I get this as my ringtone??

  • @BigTimeBull seeeeeeatle baby!! u from seattle area too? im from bellevue

  • ME RECUERDA A LA DE MUCH MORE PERO STA ES BUENISIMAA!

  • Chorus and middle samples are from the rock band Kansas. The song is called "Nobody's Home".

"So far I've come to find there's no one here, no life I fear, I came for nothing, they have gone, and Nobody's Home."

  • @freddahboy thank you man, i'd buy you a beer if i could

  • what the hell is 2:11 that should be its own song

  • cant get enough of this track

  • great track..
