  • i didnt know you could shrink your rear window with a heat gun very interesting!

  • DO U REALLY CLEAN REAR WINDOWS LIKE THAT ?? LOL GOTTA B A LOT OF DOTS ON IT !!!! GOOD VIDEO THOOO

  • He didn`t mount the tint on the outside. He just used the outside of the glass to shape the film, and mount it on the inside.

  • well thats nice in all if you live in a warm sunny place! but what if you live in Canada we have to scrap our windows in winter time!! show me how to install the tint on the inside!!

  • @orph3um666 Did you even watch the whole video?

  • @myguyred123 No, hence the heat shrink/

  • How many degrees must have a gun to heat the film?

  • CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHERE I CAN BUY TINT FILM AT A MAJOR STORE? THANKS

  • @lonbites

    walmart have some

  • when your actually shrinking the actual film make sure you're actually pushing down with your actual squeegee on the lower bottom of the actual glass

  • the guy did not put any protection on the car especially on the back window all the soapy water just went into the car , i am a professional tinter and i always put a tarp on the back seats , i can not believe he did not do that so if you have leather seats the soap will stain , what a joke , California tinters are always better

  • Thanks, I bought a precut tint on ebay and followed your instructions and my tint looks professional! I have a $200 tint job for $25. WOW

Thanks for your help!! Precut is the way to go!

  • @hungryhobo82 Your window will crack/peel/turn purple in no time. Thats what you get with cheat tints

  • @MrStreetMix Yeah, I agree some of the tint on ebay is crap. I ordered from one seller Nusolus or something like that and it was purple before I even put in on! lol

I ordered from a different seller and it is great! I do installations part time and I order the precut kits so I don't have to have a lot of inventory on hand. I have installed over 30 precut kits over the last 5 years and it does not fade at all and still looks new. For $10 more you can upgrade to a metalized lifetime film.

  • You know you should have been a teacher. You are very good at explaining this and I for one do really appreciate your help. Thank you.

  • excellent tips sir, helped me out alot, i tinted my windows for the first time and came out great

  • You can use baby powder as well!!! Iv been tinting for 18 years!!! Yes, we make it look easy!!!

  • @choppiejoplin What kind of soap do you recommend?

  • @Mr2002MustangGT I use Johnson baby shampoo and when I shrink i use any kind of baby powder.

  • so do you just install the back window tint on outside of it does it stick good that way ??

  • I just got my window tinted and they have like squeegee marks. Does that come off?

  • im worried bout all that water dropping on the interior

  • @LiLxFiasco aww what you scared of pussy hahaha you aint hardd nikkkaaa

  • Rear window tinting is a bitch. I'm on my 2nd tint applique because my first got all wrinkly.

  • On witch temperature you setup the dryer at shaping the foils

  • with the rear window when you lay down the tint do you have the adhesive side up with the clear plastice or down

  • @probey1989 adhesive side up, so the plastic is on top

  • is it Bounty or Bounce Fabric Softener?

  • question : why do we ave to shrink the film for the rear windows and not for the side windows

  • @coolplayer3210 - Rear windows are curved more so they need to be "formed" to the contours of the window, rather then the side windows are flat.

  • best tinting video in youtube!

  • Thanks bud, This string of vids is so much more descrptive than the random point and heat vids littering YouTube.

    Subcribed!

  • if u dnt have the heat gun u can also use a hair dryer to heat shrink the tint altho it does take alot longer =D

  • That looks like an rx-7

  • @stcrit good call..its is a FD

  • can i just use a credit card as a hard card

  • @brothersretailers no it's too small.....and it'll take too much time

  • wait so do you actually put tint on the outside?

  • no u jst cut the film on the outside as a guide

  • I like how he explains heat shrinking just by doing 1 piece of the bottom section. But not the top corners lol

  • ha ha.whats up?

  • get it big drop it loww

  • aahhh no why didnt you wrap your hard card with a moist paper towel!!!!

  • WHAT KIND OF TINT FILM ARE YOU USING?

  • Looks like SunTek.

  • If you don't have a heat gun can you use a hair dryer??

  • yea you can, i did when i did mine, no bubbles, looks professional

  • you could but you would have to use the hair dryer for a very very long time.. ive been told that they do not get hot enough.. i use to use a hair dryer. untill i bought a heat gun.. u can get a really good one for about 35 bucks.. at your local hardware store..

  • i know you posted this like 9 months ago but i tried a hair dryer and well it wasn't hot enough i mean you could buy heat guns at home depot but i bought mine some where else for cheaper and better only 30 bucks

  • so you put tint on the inside and the outside? is the heater on low?
