As for the claims of being against abortion and stem cell research, I am against those things for more than religious reasons. To me, a baby is a life and should not be killed. Stem Cell research at this stage of human existance would likely be used by some in a dangerous manner by militaries. I am curious though as to why lesbians are so pro abortion when the nature of their chosen companions prohibits them from getting pregnant in the first place. Its like being athiest and attacking God.

The other reason for making these videos, other than the harm religion causes, is to have a counterpoint to all the slander directed against atheists- to stand up for our selves and present our perspective. We're the most hated segment of society, and I think it's primarily because we're misunderstood.
The problem here isn't any particular god or combination thereof. It is belief therein. If this guy is subscribed to so many atheist, I find it hard to believe this hasn't been explained to him. @BionicDance I did check Wiki. It mentions he was a Christian Scientist, but it didn't mention he was refusing to go to the hospital because of his Christian Scientist upbringing. It actualy says he was refusing because he didn't want to be a bother to people.
Still, even if that is the reported reason, I would think the Christian Science would be likely an underlying reason.

I have gotten to the point where I no longer talk about religion unless someone brings it up! It gets tiresome and I don't know how you keep fighting.. He did not go, not because of his religious views, but because he did not believe he was sick.
May 4,1990 he was complaining of sore throat. He went to the Dr on the 12th and they gave him aspirin.
He died the 16th at NY hospital.

The other reason for making these videos, other than the harm religion causes, is to have a counterpoint to all the slander directed against atheists- to stand up for our selves and present our perspective. We're the most hated segment of society, and I think it's primarily because we're misunderstood.

The problem here isn't any particular god or combination thereof. It is belief therein. If this guy is subscribed to so many atheist, I find it hard to believe this hasn't been explained to him. But, no doubt, he ignored it, the same way he siezed on the fact that so many atheists make videos ABOUT hell and ignored what they actually SAID about the subject.
