ca919a I agree about the need for juice shops compared to the # of coffee shops. But, coffee provides more than just a morning jolt; that steaming cup of java is also the number one source of antioxidants in the average U.S. diet. I've been juicing for over 50 years thanks to my father. Living juice provides natural energy without stimulating the nervous system. But, I sometimes add a shot or 2 of espresso or cup of Joe & the experience is nothing short of exhilerating! So, why not enjoy both?

if u re not rockefeller, do it like me. Blend it with a cheap blender(50 Dollar) and press it through a 1 mm kitchen filter. Its a little nasty and it takes some minutes but you get the best juice ever. I am going to have at least 2 lbs of dark green mineral rich leafes with this method every day. Add some honey or sth like that and it taste very good.

Juicing with the Juicman also changed my life. I drink carrots and apples with other veggies every day. Love it and lost 50lbs. That and organic whole food. Fresh juice does wonders. I'm living proof as well.

i like the breville juice fountain elite (not saying it's the best; it's the one i like though). i think the norwalk is the best juicer, but it's very expensive

@isaachaze1 I'm considering buying the Juice Fountain Elite. I have a Jack LaLanne juicer at the moment that works ok but I would like to buy a better one. One that is more powerful. I noticed with my juicer that the pulp is on the moist side. How is the pulp using the Breville? Is it pretty dry?

@starbuck680 I really like my juice fountain. but no, the pulp is somewhat moist. what you can do is line the ejection bin with a nut-milk bag and strain some more juice out of the pulp. i just eject it into a plastic grocery bag and throw it away, but that's probably a little wasteful. if it had a press, like the norwalk, you could get ALL the juice out of it. i'm just not willing to pay $2,500, at least right now.

@isaachaze1 Yeah the Norwalk would be the juicer to have but who has that kind of money to spend on a juicer? Thanks for your response to my question. I guess there isn't any reason for me to buy a new one seeing how the Breville's pulp is moist also.

@starbuck680 The Breville is great; really fast and easy to clean too. But no, i wouldn't get one if that's the only reason is to replace your old one. if you search for liferegenerator, you can you see a bunch of vids with the breville in action. the're pretty good vids too and have some good recipes.

@landof101dreams actually, i haven't even been using a juicer lately. now i just use the vitamix and pretty happy with it because i'm not wasting anything. i'll check out the philips at amazon though just out of curiosity

@isaachaze1 the best one is the philipshr1854 it is the best one i have ever used :) although an apple got stuck at the bottom of the tube:L so i had to turn it off then take it off then cut it up a little then put it in then NEWWOOOOOWWWWWW the fruits gone and juice appears :D i also put the pulp in my garden, just pour it out there cuz apparantly pulp is good for gardens e.g. manoure and stuff kthx

@landof101dreams It's weird, because I couldnt find the hr 1854 on amazon, but I did find it on amazon.uk. The UK amazon doesn't sell the Breville juice fountain elite, but sells the hr 1854, and the US amazon doesn't sell the hr 1854 but sells the Juice Fountain. Weird. Anyway, the 1854 has a 550 watt motor and the Breville has a 1000 watt motor. As a car guy, I'm all about the motors :).

Jason is a juice-god, and a very funny one at that. He's living proof of what he preaches - only to call it preaching is doing him a dis-service ... all he wants for you is that you feel GREAT and have a laugh ... can't recommend his stuff enough, he changed my life and it didn't hurt a bit!
