Cards were begging to get swept but Lou was out of control. Why he left Schlitter in there in the 11th I don't know. I thought for sure it was going to be Howry. The Cardinals got away with all the Horrible calls at second. Chis carpenter showed horrible Sportsmanship yelling at the umpire for more inches off the plate. Cards stinks period. Molina is a great defencive catcher but has no value on offence. No one on the Cards can get a fly ball when needed to score man from third. Here is what I think after my analizing of both 9th innings: Franklin's breaking pitches DID NOT BREAK and were flat so most of the Rockie hitters just 'sat' on his fastball as when he got behind in the count they KNEW they were going to get a nice, fat, juicy, fastball to hit. Cookie will make the Cards crumble today! Franklin needs the day off or his season will be ruined. He needs one on one with Dave Duncan asap.
