  • You'er way to high strung, hyper and spastic for me to listen to you about mediation and grounding. no offence to you please.... you seem to be a wonder person ... you seem an air type with fire tendencies... I am an earth type with water tendencies.... it's a bit too much.

  • This is so helpful! Even people who aren't pagan/wicca should be able to do this, it is very calming and any religion that I know of cannot ban things dealing with the chakras! lol

  • @Metacool416 negative influence hypnosis through telepathic communication from several co-workers and a neighbor. They're doing it deliberately on a constant basis so it is depressing and weighing me down.

  • Thnx Flora. I use this little meditation I made-up.

    I imagine I'm at the beach; and I say to myself:

    "I lay in the sand [Earth] & I become grounded;

    I bask in the Sun [Fire] & I become centered;

    I swim in the Sea [water] & I am cleansed

    I feel the Wind [air] embrace me & I become balanced.

    I hear a Seagull flying high & I am reminded

    that Spirit is all around me,

    and not just way up in the sky."

    I repeat this as many times as I need to 'til I feel centered, grounded, balanced & cleansed. B/B)O(

  • I heard another way of grounding yourself is to envision all of your chakras in your body. Then visualize a huge white light full of energy (this would be universal energy) and have it come to your crown chakra. Then you would have the white energy pass through each chakra making them more active and well rotated until it goes all the way do to your base chakra. then image the light continuing down into the earth and act as an anchor so that way all of your chakras and are connected to the earth

  • Dear Flora! Luv your videos! They helped me to start back in the path. I want to add to to your video. You mentioned that there are 2 ways of learning: linguistic, auditor and kinesthetic. There are actually 9 types of intelligence which were proposed by Gardner in 1983.Please review. (I use wikipedia as a quick reference)Those are:Spatial , Linguistic ,Logical-mathematical , Bodily-kinesthetic , Musical ,Interpersonal ,Intrapersonal ,Naturalistic andExistential.   • i have lost every bit of what I thought I was serious about learning. Well it takes a major blow to let you know your so wrong. Knowing myself, I hope I've learned, oops I'm going to truly learn what I thought I had. See what I mean, I'm all over the place. My center has gone back into the earth.   • I once was able to see Auras of all colors in a solid form as a very young child. I remember showing off to my older sister. I brought it to her attention first because I didn’t know how to speak much less explain or describe it to my older brothers. This was my first hide and seek game but with a blind fold. My parents made me believe that I truly had a gift. This is where things turned for the worse.

  • I cannot even believe how well this works! I love it because it is something so simple, and it takes almost no time out of a busy day, yet it gives you great results. This is exactly what I need to get me grounded when I start feeling scattered at work. :)

  • I didnt want to do the roots method because I am on an 8th floor, so the ground is actually very far down. -.- I'll stick to the feelers in method.

  • I don't have a video response, since I'm at work, but I've tried just sitting up against a large tree and feeling the energy of the tree. It works well :) At least when you have the time to find a tree.

  • I have done the 'root' grounding method before. When I ground I visualize the core of the earth, then I visualize where I am at, and I visualize the core sending a ray of grounded energy to my feet. When it touches my feet it goes to my 'core' energy, and releases itself throughout my body, and discharges the bad energy through my fingertips. This makes me feel very refreshed.

  • I always use the roots method whenever I need to ground and center. And ALWAYS before I meditate. I'm also a very visual learner, so visualization is huge for me.

    The other thing I like to do is after I "root" myself, imagine a bright beam of light coming down and through the top of my head and through the center of my body and it kind of lights up and charges my chakras.

  • Thank you so much for sharing your methods ! Feeling ungrounded and scattered all over the place is something i feel often, i know i like to listen to soft music (it cuts me from the world) or hold a cristal in my hands or on my wrist, and feel its warmth surround me like a cocoon.

  • Thank you very much for these methods! I am going to try them all along this week. My usual method is: even walking,...imagine that light (like roots) come from the Earth to my body and branches go out of my head to the sky and Universe, and see my protective shield around me, and I keep that for a while, while doing whatever I'm doing trying to feel...and I normaly calm down and feel great peace...best was while walking at the beach with strong wind cleaning me. Kind regards.

  • you're such a sweetie...this was a very good video. I agree...we do need to learn from each other...I think what you're doing here for the "earth spirit" or "Pagan" community (whatever label you want to put on it) is wonderful. I know that when I first started my path...all I could find were books...there's no one in my area who teaches workshops or anything like that. You and a hand full of youtubers have helped me out a lot. So thank you...I don't think you know how much good you're doing.

  • @PineGroveBird I was raised by a lot of Christians, and while my mother isn't so Christian that she doesn't love and accept me, but she doesn't really let me practice a whole lot. I also can't get some of the things that were beat into my head about this being "Evil" I'd like to believe that I can blur the lines of both religions and honor all, but it's hard to do that..

  • @xXxiPodSingerxXx It sounds like you just need to move and stop caring about what others think about your beliefs. there are various stones for moving on and healing. personally, id just believe in what you want. religion isnt limited too Catholicism. as the 1st amendment (hate to get political on here) states that we as Americans have the right to religious expression. do what you love, love what you do. I hope this helped at all, if not, it was worth a try (:.

  • Wot if you are basically a learner that is in the middle?

    I learn better when I do the visual, hearing and doing it at the same time. (Bit like following a recipe.)

    I find it difficult to visualize sometimes due to my autism but trying this exercise while watching this vid did made me get a feeling that it did work even though it hurt my chest with the pressing and couldn't visualize the feelers but felt it.
