If you already have a cat before pregnancy, you are resistant to that bacteria. My doctor tested me for it just in case, and I'm resistant. So nothing to worry about.

i heard some people carry their babies really "deep" meaning they dont pop out as much. i'm not one of them :( but its okay i have a really cute prego belly at 17 weeks!

Cat poo can lead to blindness in the baby but I'm sorry if ppl can't wash there hands after cleanin a litter tray well then it's there own fault ..

Dogs don't carry a virus. I've never heard the before..poor dog. This is my second child and I had a dog with my first and she's perfectly healthy. This pregnancy is going well too. Go get a pregnancy book...they are usually written by OBGYN's themselves so it'll tell you what you need to know.

Actually it's not the cat itself, it's when pregnant women are around the litter box. Some outside cats get this and a pregnant woman can only be affected if they change the liter box or handle the cats without washing their hands.

@corbincrazy3390 Not trying to be rude but you should get a proper resource before you start scaring pregnant women on the internet about a subject like this. Some animals carry an organism called toxoplasmosis. This is something that can also be in meats. Most people are immune and were in contact well before they were ever pregnant. Its only bad if you contract it WHILE you are pregnant. Ask someone else to clean the litter box and try and keep your hands clean. Talk to a doctor or nurse.
