whattt...i didnt now at first this was a indie game....this was one of my fav games on the arcade lololol..i luv this the first time i played it..couldnt get enough...specially when i got the sword were you can teleport lololol
I really agree with the message at the end. A lot of the community games are really bad and unfinished. There are a couple good ones but even those feel like they are lacking something that could have made them great.
I played this round a friends house in coop, and he decided to buy it right there and then. It was cool, not up to castle crashers quality, but good all the same.
I have started to focus on XNA rather then modding for making games, and discovered some weird limitations in it. Most notably, the 50-150mb limit. I've seen unfinished mods and open source games run at 250mb+, so it seems a touch restrictive.
Great video again. I feel weird saying the same thing every week, but all your reviews are very informative. Hey, as an XNA-now-XBLA game, Australians can actually buy this one! Hooray!
I have yet to try XNA. To me, the entire point of a community site is to get feedback because I'm unable to employ a QA team. Is it a problem of too many people marking playtests as releases, not enough reviewers, low review standards or what?
not sure I totally understand what your saying but if you're suggesting that people release xna games to playtest for other applications, then yes, I've heard that it is being done in some limited cases.
I was trying to understand your comments about waiting to release until polish is added, but the "to market" part may have made it clear. I don't know what the point of XNA would be if people could not give access to incomplete versions, bounce ideas around, experiment, and possibly collaborate. I believe that's what defines a community site.
no offense though, there's nothing you can do about it! lol just the polish in this game was really done well. even in comparison with regular xbla games. job well done.
Hey Sasha, thanks for watching, I'm continually working on making the audio mix better, I'd like some feed back from other viewers about this, I try to keep the audio at the dv standard -12db but i guess that is more geared to dvd publishing, i can raise the levels though, if people are generally having the same issue.
Good man, keep it up, I started a month or so ago, but got a software developer job last week so my XNA game is on hault for now. XNA deffo helped me get this job though!
Will do man! Your videos are one of few subscriptions I actually watch when they come out actually. I probably have more than 100 subscriptions too lol. Keep up the good work man!

MS definitely could loosen up some of the restrictions, hopefully soon.

i've already bought it... first day. it's very polished, moreso than you can see in a youtube video.

none taken. it is hard to convey some of the subtleties in this game in the youtube format.

This is really good stuff, but the audio is always way too low. I gotta crank it up to about 400% of what other YouTube vids need.
