It was a Thomas "Gold Rail" shed. Bandai makes one, which is pretty much the same though the names on the shed are in Japanese. You might find it on Ebay US once in a while. I got mine about 12 years ago.

what i am really angry about is that they discontinued all of the ertl ones and brought in take along. ertl hadf the best detail out of all the thomas trains ever made. and they got rid of them.

I have my ERTL's since I was two (back in 1993). How do you keep yours looking so new?  Mine still look good, but the paint is starting to go big time.

I carried my Ertls all over the place and the only ones that had a large loss of paint were Duck and Toad. The reason was that Duck was my favorite character and Ertl didn`t have a breakvan for years so I used Toad to re-enact the crashes. :P I have 4 of Toad (2 opened, 2 carded) Oherwise, I kept my Ertls in good shape when I was younger.

It really exists. I was searching for ertl thomas on ebay and found a similar model without the face. It was in the re-released pckage when it changed to Thomas and Friends.
