This isn't really that much of a stretch, in the sense that these are the pairings that Lizzie's neighbors would probably have expected: Jane & Darcy the reserved ones, and Lizzie & Bingley the outgoing & lively ones. What REALLY happened must have left their jaws on the floor!

I was just watching the newer version of the film and for some reason it just doesn't compare to teh older version--though they do give an intersting twist--teh older LIZA and DRAcy give a more dramatic performacance tnx for the vid though :) lol

I like the idea, but in my opinion it just doesn't work like that.. they are perfect for eachother like they are in the story, and don't suit eachother otherwise.. idk, maybe it's just because i know the story :]
