Obama is a disgusting anti AMERICAN MARXIST! EVEN JOE BIDEN said we will BE ATTACKED in 6 months, and I knew that already! THE MILITARY hates OBAMA! McCain is AMERICA'S only HOPE!
Actually, if you google it: according to USA Today and other sources, Obama has gotten MORE support than McCain from members of the military.. Obama's gotten far more campaign contributions from US troops, including more donations from troops currently serving overseas..
And of course that's not what Biden said, and those other charges are false and frankly absurd.
I just found your 'tube. And I have to say, you seem to have a really well thought out view on things. Not to mention you're a sick lyricist and natural poet.
Great video, by the way. My favorite part is most likely the very end. ;D
I mean this video is considered funny because it plays on the assumption that people disagree with some of the things community organizations do because they are often associated with the Black community. Rather than having legitimate problems with these community groups, their resistance to school vouchers their bullying of banks into handing out bad banks loans, involvement in voter fraud. Nope it is because they must be racist. Come on man, live up to a better standard.
I actually don't think that's an accurate description of what the video is about, but regardless, having specific issues with specific community groups does not justify dismissing the very concept of a "community organizer" as inherently worthless or immoral, as the GOP did at their convention.
BTW there are definitely issues with racism among some left-wingers (just like every other part of America) but I just don't think criticisms of Thomas Sowell etc are a good example of that..
I can sympathize with that view. I should say I don't feel America is a racist country far from it. I have always seen more Racism in Europe, which lectures your nation about these issues, I feel America does not deserve that.
Actually the incident you are referring to Obama didn't mention race. He stated that the Rep attack groups would try to scare voters "He's got a funny sounding name." "He doesn't look like the other Presidents on the money." And with the emphasis of his middle name by the Sheriff in Florida I believe, and saying "He's not one of us." etc. McCain and the Media said Obama was playing the race card and were offended saying they wouldn't dirty the campaign with those attacks... D'oh! Too Late.
I am sorry but can you be more clear with what he was referring to when he said "He doesn't look like the other Presidents on the money." No one in this century does. I think he was referring to race. As an outside observer I think that the democrats inject race to often into the debate by saying every criticism has a hidden racist message. Where as Black republicans get no defense from the left when attacked in very racist tones. I don't get Fox news in Canada btw.
I have to disagree that Democrats inject race when no racism exists. Republicans are playing on bigotry right now. The fact you have McCain saying "Obama is a good citizen, not an Arab." So then Arab Americans aren't good citizens? Muslims are people to fear? The underlying message to the Republican base is pretty clear: Obama = Arab, Muslim, Terrorist sympathizer. It's dehumanizing, and hate filled rhetoric.
He isn't saying Arabs are not good citizens he is simply putting down two rumors at once.Your take several disparate and separate points and attach them together to get something very absurd. Some Americans care if he was a Muslim which is dumb, conflating that to a republican position, taking it further to say that pointing out his apathy for Domestic terrorism is sympathy with Muslim terrorist is is impressively stupid. I don't like either much but the left in America is a bunch of Children
I have to say that the hateful racist rhetoric directed towards Clarence Thomas and people like Thomas Sowell and even Bill Cosby send a very clear message that racism against people of certain beliefs is tolerated by the American Left. People of Color in Canada do notice this trust me and it is actually a big topic that we talk about when the issue of racism comes up, we are including the American left as well.
You are making a lot of broad, sweeping statements about "the American Left" as if it is a monolith. What, specifically, was said about the figures you cite, and by whom? and who, specifically, was "tolerating" it?
The American left I am referring to is the the academic and portions of popular media. To be totally specific in a you tube comment section as to not appear all encompassing is asking a great deal and I think you know that.
Look up the black Republican Ad on you tube for example. Show me one story on the Daily Kos or popular media that decries that racist ad. The term Uncle Tom sickens me and I never see it decried by the American left.
Without more specificity it's hard for me to tell how your accusations relate to the subject at hand. Are you saying the Obama campaign and their supporters have indulged racism during this campaign?
I can't tell which video you mean, but unless it was an official campaign ad I don't think random youtube videos are comparable to words uttered by candidates themselves, or in their presence.. if leaders were obligated to decry every ad hominem on youtube neither side would ever have time to sleep
Oh I agree, I am not saying that Obama or elements of his campaign are racist. I don't feel McCain is as well. My contention is that the much of cultural left appears very comfortable with very open racism displayed by their ideological peers, while decrying "hidden racism" by the right at every opportunity. Surrogates of the Obama campaign don't help race issues in your country by crying racist wolf over non issues constantly.
It is legitimate to think that say welfare can impoverish people of any race. Saying that the motives behind that idea are racist says to me that there is no interest in a political discourse and effectually ends the debate. That type of thought, that only a rational non racist person can come those conclusions any white people who hold those beliefs must be suspected of being racist until proven innocent, is very prevalent on what I see as the American left.
I think you're making a Hasty Generalization fallacy and taking a small part of the "left" and applying it to the whole Left. I don't think all Rep supporters are racist. I don't think McCain is. However I can understand why People of Color are sensitive to the racism issue in America. I'm from the South, and I live not 12 miles from Erwin TN that has a deep racist past, and I've had people tell me as an Obama supporter "You have a gene missing if you support that Muslim."
Here is the big difference right now between Obama and the McCain campaign. Obama is not feeding into the fringe left. He's trying to keep things civil. McCain is doing the opposite.
And if you wanna put the shoe on the other foot is the right wing media decrying the racist Obama Food Stamp mailer in CA? What about all the monkey T-Shirts? The Osama Obama posters that have them side by side. If you wanna go tit-for-tat there is much more racist stuff from the fringe Right then the Left.
I think your claim of hateful rhetoric is fallacious at best. Just because you disagree with someone, and argue against their position even vigorously doesn't invalidate it if it is fact based and fair. I want a robust discussion on the issues. I want the positions on both sides challenged. That's what keeps a democracy vibrant. I don't want flag pins, patriotism or religious litmus tests, Bill Ayers, and all that BS.
Well calling the Left a bunch of children, and myself stupid aside I'll just state the GOP wants to paint the inference of Obama being Muslim, and a terrorist sympathizer as fact, and then claim that's not what they meant, because they are appealing to the worst parts of their base: racism and bigotry. Example: Jeffrey M. Frederick, GOP Chair of Virginia.
The connection between Barack Obama and Osama bin Laden: "Both have friends that bombed the Pentagon," he (Frederick) said. "That is scary."
You know I heard that Obama has been linked to a prominent NYC investment firm known as Wu-Tang Financial. Fortunately Wu-Tang Fin. and all of their 36 Chambers are intact because they followed the C.R.E.A.M. Principle and stayed out of the sub-prime securities market.
"I've been fighting alongside ACORN on issues you care about my entire career. Even before I was an elected official, when I ran Project Vote voter registration drives in Illinois, ACORN was smack dab in the middle of it, and we appreciate your work," Barack Obama
I hereby nominate you for President of the United States. C'mon, grab someone like Michael Franti for VP and scare the crap out of the entrenched freaks in Washington with a colorblind, common-sense administration that puts people first :)
Seriously, thanks for the great vids. I've sent links to the "How to tell someone..." video to a bunch of people. Excellent stuff at a time when the country seriously needs excellent stuff on important issues that doesn't come in form of an ad/lecture.
haha, if Franti and I are running I don't think I should be the head of that ticket.. Actually I'll take a Michael Franti/Boots Riley ticket and I'll be their James Carville
I was cracking up as soon as I started watching this! Then I looked to see who made it and it was you. Nice to know people who can really do a great spoof, even if the originals are getting down right dangerous. I'm already addicted.
Of course this only works because its to real-and that's getting scary.
I love your videos man. Found you via your "How to Tell People They Sound Racist" video, and have loved every single video I have seen of yours so far. Very insightful and funny.
obama is an african american..what are you talking about? Race is technically not biological, but composed of physical apperances that are sociologically significant. When anyone in society views obama and is asked what race is (absent of they're background knowledge on him) they will say "black"..
hollatchaboiy: "Obama is not Black... he's the son of a white woman and an African immigrant with no connection to the slaves that were brought to America."
your Ancisters dont have to be SLAVES to qualify you as african american fucking IDIOT.
African father+ white AMERICAN mother= AFRICAN AMERICAN!
Obama isn't from the struggle, neither is his mother or father. Which means there is a level of separation between being african American, and having ancestors that were slaves in America. For the record, it is unfortunate that race will decide the next president over actual issues and service records. If you vote for Obama based on facts, then you know you are racist becuase McCains record is way better over all
JimisJames, you keep making comments like "if you vote for Obama then you are a racist" but you keep dodging my questions and rebuttals. Once again, I support your right to vote for Mccain, but you haven't made the case that the only reason people vote for Obama is race and that Mccain's platform is better. So are you just venting or do you want to have a serious discussion?
I agree that they are both good people with good hearts, that's why I am sad to see McCain take such a low road. He's let himself get caught up in a campaign that goes against what he used to stand for.
He hasn't changed his positions on anything. He has changed political strategies, but that's just good, sound game theory. You can't implement what you feel to be superior policies if you don't first win. And as long as those strategies don't include lying or slandering, which they don't because he hasn't, then he hasn't contradicted his former self in the slightest.
McCain has lied repeatedly. Have you watched the most recent debate? He reiterated claims that have been shown by multiple sources to be false, and he knew precisely what he was doing. Also, given the fact that his campaign is pretty much belly up at this point, your understanding of game theory may not be the soundest.
"I can no more disown [Jeremiah Wright] than I can the black community"
Since he threw Wright under the bus, can we now assume that Obama would just as readily disown the black community if they could hurt his chances at getting elected?
I can't wait to see BO get elected (coronated?). It won't be long before blacks realize that he is no savior. You want collectivist policies? You got 'em. Be careful what you wish for.
"I don't think BO is anyones savior"- neither do I, but I have realized from following this election that the black community regards him as one. (using the word loosely) As far as Ayn Rand is concerned, the concept of collectivism has existed long before she came along. As far as me addressing my comments to blacks, the content of the video suggests why I addressed it to blacks.
Ayn Rand... Ah, yes the pop philosophy of Objectivism. The Fountainhead wasn't too bad, but Atlas Shrugged is like reading War and Peace in a hot room with someone scratching a nail on a chalkboard. My brain just hurts: "How does... she... arrive at these... conclusions? Ah the pain! My Reason hurts! Kant save me!"
Oh and I'm an Obama Supporter and White, so-called. Nice vid btw Jay. And I don't think Obama is a savior. Although I believe AZ maybe Rap's savior.

OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!If you weren't such a fucking racist you would see that Obama is dirtier and clearly less moral the McCain. You don't want the "best man for the job", you want the "black man for the job. I can understand that, a black president would be cool, just not at the expense of reason and well known and properly weighed facts. This video sucks
I'm not voting for McCain becuase he is white, I am voting for McCain becuase Obama is a liar and dirty. Trying to make McCain look like George W Bush, when McCain is soooooooooo beyond what Bush could ever hope to be AND MAKING PEOPLE BELEIVE THAT makes him dangerous. Obama's people are at the heart the finacial crisis and you think he is going to bring prosperity? do some research
Ok, Raynes is one of Obama's financial advisors, and he cooked books, was forced to resign, and then got 20 million. Obama also got more money then just about anyone from fanny may. So that, plus he lied, on top of the fact that Fabby may was validating wide spread and rampant preditory lending makes Obama almost absurd when he makes the claims he does. He has been lieing and getting away with it while McCain has been serving and paying for the Bush administrations mistakes. Obama is dirty.
Fannie Mae was a huge contributor to the Mccain campaign as well. In addition, predatoey lending policies have been pushed by these financial institutions because of the incredible amount of fincail deregulation which BOTH parties are responsible for. These deregulatory policies can be traced back to the Reagan era: now they have come to bite us all in the ass. I would trust Obama more because he is not a member of the Party that initiated this trend.
McCain was deamed by the senate as having used poor judgement. No doubts about that.Possible understatement. But McCain hasn't been rampantly lieing and getting away with it. Obama has. Obama pretty much gets to say that he's not Bush, but McCain is, and win that way. If Obama wins, it will be becuase he was able to lie to America, not becuase educated and thoughtful voters researched the facts. A black President is an awsome thing, it's unfortunate that the first will be Obama.
Look: I'm serious here. No more mudslinging: this is an important election. Of course there are uneducated people voting for Obama, but would it be fair of me to judge Mccain based on the racist yahoos at some of his rallies? Of course not. So if you're going to criticize Obama, I want SUBSTANCE, not Fox News propaganda.
As if "educated and thoughtful voters researched the facts" were ever true. The vast majority of Americans do NOT know much about politics or policy (both national and international).
Secondly, I cannot think of anyone with more backbone, decency, INTELLECT, and political smarts to run this country today. What lies are you talking about? Give me something substantial please.
McCain is a 20 year vet in the military. 26 years in the senate. Hates Bush (well documented) for many things. And all Obama wants to say is that voting for McCain is the same thing as is voting for Bush again. That is an outrageous lie. That is the greatest slander of all time. Bush is skull and bones, Old oil money, has life long Saudi freinds, was a figure head for Dick cheaney, and Bush skipped out on duties from National Guard. McCain actually votes against his party, Obama does not.
mccain voted with bush 90% of the time didn't he? even if it weren't true mccain (like bush) is a republican so many people view mccain as "guilty by association"..
Wow! McCain wanted to attack IRAQ. In fact he said that he was very confident that it would go smoothly and we would be greeted as liberators. He wants to stay there with no real plan (political stability is the goal in Iraq, anything less is a failure: he has no plan whatsoever for that).
On the economy Mc agrees with Bush, on more corporate tax cuts and more tax cut for the wealthy. Add to that the 90% pro-Bush voting record. These are FACTS.
lol, if you work hard what difference does it make as far as tax cuts go. I was raised by asingle mom my whole life and I never ever heard her once say that she was so grateful for a tax break. Tax breaks are a politacal ploy. Irag was Bush's war regardless of McCains veiwes. It wasn't McCains. Why does anyone care if Corporations get tax breaks anyways? I can't imagine how that has any impact on anyone's life. And the little money Obama could afford you would be forgotten in a month
damn. you really need to learn what governments are and why they exist. taxes have to be levied to allow a gov't to function. the fact that it functions correctly or not is another issue. But with no taxes, there is no gov't and thus no public services.
Corporations need to be taxed because they make an insane amount of money thanks to OUR government (especially abroad). They need to pay taxes not get tax cuts. Maybe some pol/econ litt might do you some good. Start with some Smith and Polanyi..
I'm glad. You should be proud of your mom, however there is a vast difference between tax breaks for an individual and corporate tax breaks. CTB's are a way to exempt big corporations for paying their fair share for living in the country that helped them create their wealth. Just as citizens are requited to contribute to the common good, so should corporate entities.
As for Mccain, he DID support the War in Iraq. His criticism was that Bush didn't deploy enough forces.
so all Obama has to do is cry the war sucks nd he wins? Is that really all that matters in this election to you was McCains vote on the war? McCain also headed the investigation of torture commintted by American soldiers. He was against it, like evryone else but the Bush Administration. He cannot be held responsible for the war or theBush white house. It's one thing to jump on the Obama wagon, its another to actually beleive the lies. Obama is a liar
Why would you make assumptions about why I would vote for Obama when I haven't told you my reasons? Sure the war is one thing, but so is the economy, health care, progressive taxation, a multilateral foreign policy which doesn't prioritize a military answer above all others, etc...
Also, Mccain ORIGINALLY decried torture but changed his position under pressure from his Party. Yet another reason why I think he isn't the "maverick" he used to be.
Correction: Mccain "hated" Bush. I used to respect him back in 2000, but he has changed so many of his policies in order to appeal to the Conservative base that I can't recognize the man anymore. The Mccain I've seen in this campaign is far from the maverick I used to know.
Oh yeah let's all fear Obama he might actually help the middle class and African Americans oh dear what is white america to do. What facts are you talking about by the way. If you say something stupid like he is arab I swear to god.
It's not clever, and it's not like McCain has attacked him to any of that degree before--not about the Black issue, but about lying in that way. Usually these parodies just just give a way for people to vent their anger towards candidates, but not have any substance to show why they're angry.
Cleverness is in the eye of the beholder :) But regardless, this video is a satirical critique of McCain's guilt-by-association campaign tactics, and his many attempts to portray Obama as something other than "one of us". It satirizes the specious reasoning of those attacks & magnifies the underlying assumptions behind the fear-mongering. This is not aimless venting, it is an assessment of specific and substantive issues, regardless of how you may disagree with the slant of that assessment.
oooh, this ad seriously needs some press. it expresses exactly what i've been saying about this race: that a lot of the people against barack obama simply don't like him because of his race. which, of course, everybody denies because "nobody's a racist anymore! it's 2008!" seriously, though... why is barack NOT the best candidate? seriously, no one can tell you, except bs conspiracy theories that sound like something from the sci-fi channel.
awesome this is too funny. and your right seriosuly because hes barack obama a black candidate theyre almost tryin to make him look like hes not american. completely ridiculous GOP bullshit
I vehemently disagree, I think it is abundantly clear at this point that his race has been integral to their consistent efforts, ever since the America First theme at their convention, to portray Obama as less American, less "one of us" and somehow less "safe" than the GOP ticket. I could go on much longer on that but this space does not allow for it. Do you think it's a coincidence that these tactics consistently elicit reactions from their audience that refer to Obama's name and ethnicity?
You could go on but you don't need to. Even this old white Lady sees what Mccain and his "doesn't see America like we do" sidekick are doing. Great vid enjoyed every single second.

EasyEs 3 years ago
I think you're making a Hasty Generalization fallacy and taking a small part of the "left" and applying it to the whole Left. I don't think all Rep supporters are racist. I don't think McCain is. However I can understand why People of Color are sensitive to the racism issue in America. I'm from the South, and I live not 12 miles from Erwin TN that has a deep racist past, and I've had people tell me as an Obama supporter "You have a gene missing if you support that Muslim."
LazarusDurden 3 years ago
Here is the big difference right now between Obama and the McCain campaign. Obama is not feeding into the fringe left. He's trying to keep things civil. McCain is doing the opposite.
And if you wanna put the shoe on the other foot is the right wing media decrying the racist Obama Food Stamp mailer in CA? What about all the monkey T-Shirts? The Osama Obama posters that have them side by side. If you wanna go tit-for-tat there is much more racist stuff from the fringe Right then the Left.
LazarusDurden 3 years ago
I think your claim of hateful rhetoric is fallacious at best. Just because you disagree with someone, and argue against their position even vigorously doesn't invalidate it if it is fact based and fair. I want a robust discussion on the issues. I want the positions on both sides challenged. That's what keeps a democracy vibrant. I don't want flag pins, patriotism or religious litmus tests, Bill Ayers, and all that BS.
LazarusDurden 3 years ago
Well calling the Left a bunch of children, and myself stupid aside I'll just state the GOP wants to paint the inference of Obama being Muslim, and a terrorist sympathizer as fact, and then claim that's not what they meant, because they are appealing to the worst parts of their base: racism and bigotry. Example: Jeffrey M. Frederick, GOP Chair of Virginia.
The connection between Barack Obama and Osama bin Laden: "Both have friends that bombed the Pentagon," he (Frederick) said. "That is scary."
LazarusDurden 3 years ago
You know I heard that Obama has been linked to a prominent NYC investment firm known as Wu-Tang Financial. Fortunately Wu-Tang Fin. and all of their 36 Chambers are intact because they followed the C.R.E.A.M. Principle and stayed out of the sub-prime securities market.

obama is an african american..what are you talking about? Race is technically not biological, but composed of physical apperances that are sociologically significant. When anyone in society views obama and is asked what race is (absent of they're background knowledge on him) they will say "black"..

HarrisonsWorld 3 years ago
Obama isn't from the struggle, neither is his mother or father. Which means there is a level of separation between being african American, and having ancestors that were slaves in America. For the record, it is unfortunate that race will decide the next president over actual issues and service records. If you vote for Obama based on facts, then you know you are racist becuase McCains record is way better over all

JimisJames, you keep making comments like "if you vote for Obama then you are a racist" but you keep dodging my questions and rebuttals. BARACK OBAMA AND MAcCAIN ARE GOOD PEOPLE WITH GOOD HART, THIS VIDEO IS CACA
elroller03 3 years ago
I agree that they are both good people with good hearts, that's why I am sad to see McCain take such a low road. He's let himself get caught up in a campaign that goes against what he used to stand for.
illdoc1 3 years ago
He hasn't changed his positions on anything. He has changed political strategies, but that's just good, sound game theory. You can't implement what you feel to be superior policies if you don't first win. And as long as those strategies don't include lying or slandering, which they don't because he hasn't, then he hasn't contradicted his former self in the slightest.
TheIllegit 3 years ago
McCain has lied repeatedly. Have you watched the most recent debate? He reiterated claims that have been shown by multiple sources to be false, and he knew precisely what he was doing. Also, given the fact that his campaign is pretty much belly up at this point, your understanding of game theory may not be the soundest.

I can't wait to see BO get elected (coronated?). It won't be long before blacks realize that he is no savior. You want collectivist policies? You got 'em. Be careful what you wish for.
jaymz3745 3 years ago
I don't think Barack Obama is anyone's savior. But I don't think Ayn Rand is either. :)
(btw a lot of Obama's supporters are not Black, not sure why you specifically address this to "blacks"?)
illdoc1 3 years ago
"I don't think BO is anyones savior"- neither do I, but I have realized from following this election that the black community regards him as one. (using the word loosely) As far as Ayn Rand is concerned, the concept of collectivism has existed long before she came along. As far as me addressing my comments to blacks, the content of the video suggests why I addressed it to blacks.
jaymz3745 3 years ago

JimisJames 3 years ago
ok: let's start an intelligent conversation and refrain from personal attacks.
1: How are Mccain's policies substantively different from Bush's? (especially since Obama's policies are even further away than Bush's)
2: How are Obama's people responsible for the crisis? I have a feeling you'll bring up ACORN here but I want to give you a chance to explain yourself.
wanealy 3 years ago
Ok, Raynes is one of Obama's financial advisors, and he cooked books, was forced to resign, and then got 20 million. Obama also got more money then just about anyone from fanny may. So that, plus he lied, on top of the fact that Fabby may was validating wide spread and rampant preditory lending makes Obama almost absurd when he makes the claims he does. He has been lieing and getting away with it while McCain has been serving and paying for the Bush administrations mistakes. Obama is dirty.
JimisJames 3 years ago
Fannie Mae was a huge contributor to the Mccain campaign as well. In addition, predatoey lending policies have been pushed by these financial institutions because of the incredible amount of fincail deregulation which BOTH parties are responsible for. These deregulatory policies can be traced back to the Reagan era: now they have come to bite us all in the ass. I would trust Obama more because he is not a member of the Party that initiated this trend.
wanealy 3 years ago
As for Obama being dirty, are you telling me that Keating 5 Mccain is somehow clean?
wanealy 3 years ago
McCain was deamed by the senate as having used poor judgement. No doubts about that.Possible understatement. But McCain hasn't been rampantly lieing and getting away with it. Obama has. Obama pretty much gets to say that he's not Bush, but McCain is, and win that way. If Obama wins, it will be becuase he was able to lie to America, not becuase educated and thoughtful voters researched the facts. A black President is an awsome thing, it's unfortunate that the first will be Obama.
JimisJames 3 years ago
What specifically did he lie about?
wanealy 3 years ago
Look: I'm serious here. No more mudslinging: this is an important election. Of course there are uneducated people voting for Obama, but would it be fair of me to judge Mccain based on the racist yahoos at some of his rallies? Of course not. So if you're going to criticize Obama, I want SUBSTANCE, not Fox News propaganda.
wanealy 3 years ago
As if "educated and thoughtful voters researched the facts" were ever true. The vast majority of Americans do NOT know much about politics or policy (both national and international).
Secondly, I cannot think of anyone with more backbone, decency, INTELLECT, and political smarts to run this country today. What lies are you talking about? Give me something substantial please.
obm1412 3 years ago
McCain is a 20 year vet in the military. 26 years in the senate. Hates Bush (well documented) for many things. And all Obama wants to say is that voting for McCain is the same thing as is voting for Bush again. That is an outrageous lie. That is the greatest slander of all time. Bush is skull and bones, Old oil money, has life long Saudi freinds, was a figure head for Dick cheaney, and Bush skipped out on duties from National Guard. McCain actually votes against his party, Obama does not.
JimisJames 3 years ago
mccain voted with bush 90% of the time didn't he? even if it weren't true mccain (like bush) is a republican so many people view mccain as "guilty by association"..

9/11 was an inside job. The war on terror is a sham. McCain and Obama are NWO puppets.
persona19 3 years ago
These are FACTS.
obm1412 3 years ago
lol, if you work hard what difference does it make as far as tax cuts go.
JimisJames 3 years ago
damn. you really need to learn what governments are and why they exist. taxes have to be levied to allow a gov't to function. the fact that it functions correctly or not is another issue.

9/11 was an inside job. The war on terror is a sham. McCain and Obama are NWO puppets.
persona19 3 years ago
lol 9/11 was NOT an inside job you homo
anchoricex 3 years ago

JimisJames 3 years ago
Why would you make assumptions about why I would vote for Obama when I haven't told you my reasons? Sure the war is one thing, but so is the economy, health care, progressive taxation, a multilateral foreign policy which doesn't prioritize a military answer above all others, etc...
Also, Mccain ORIGINALLY decried torture but changed his position under pressure from his Party. Yet another reason why I think he isn't the "maverick" he used to be.
wanealy 3 years ago
Calling anyone names is not going to help you convince anyone.
obm1412 3 years ago
Correction: Mccain "hated" Bush. I used to respect him back in 2000, but he has changed so many of his policies in order to appeal to the Conservative base that I can't recognize the man anymore. The Mccain I've seen in this campaign is far from the maverick I used to know.

It's not clever, and it's not like McCain has attacked him to any of that degree before--not about the Black issue, but about lying in that way. Usually these parodies just just give a way for people to vent their anger towards candidates, but not have any substance to show why they're angry.
207tj 3 years ago
Cleverness is in the eye of the beholder :) But regardless, this video is a satirical critique of McCain's guilt-by-association campaign tactics, and his many attempts to portray Obama as something other than "one of us". It satirizes the specious reasoning of those attacks & magnifies the underlying assumptions behind the fear-mongering. This is not aimless venting, it is an assessment of specific and substantive issues, regardless of how you may disagree with the slant of that assessment.
