Two very different machines really. Tyros is for auto-arranging, K2600 is for truly unique, original composition or arranging. While both very useful, K-2600 is more of a true musician's tool, with the Tyros being closer to the toy end of the spectrum.
Haha and the motif is more like the Casios they sell at Kmart.
@birth1087 I very much agree with chapapepe I use my Kurzweil K2000 alongside a Motif ES6, SY77 & EX7 they all have the plusses and minuses but I would certainly recommend having both a Motif series and a Kurzweil in your rig.
EXCELLENT Demo!! It was Great Hearing these sounds again! Oh, LOVE the AES edition 2500 you have! I wish I still had Mine! Curious Though.. Why are you using Only Factory Presets? Those sounds, although they are great, Really do NOT show what the VAST engine can do! 192 oscillators is Nothing to shrug about!!even by todays standards...:). Great Playing!!
@birth1087 I own both a fully expanded K2500 and a Motif ES8. The sounds of both are very unique. I still prefer some of the K2500 pianos for certain style of music while the ES8 out shines in other areas since it has newer technology. I am fortunate to have both and don't know what I would do without either. You must find what your area of interest is and try to find which keyboard from which company suits your particular style. If you get them both like I did, more power to you!!!!
Nice demo love the K2500 I just got one after having had two K2000's. How can you possible not touch that ribbon :) Wish i could play like you, but i have to say Jordan Rudess style ? not even close.

Thank you for your exceptional demo talent!
I am seriously looking at this keyboard.
By the way, this keyboard is a regular for Lyle Mays of the Pat Metheny group.

get the board for around $700, don't waste your money on a rack when you can have the board.
