i loved max factor pancake and pan stick and everytime somebody took a picture with me in it i looked like a japanese kabuki performer! lol i think you can still buy max factor in britain. thank goodness drugstore products have made a huge evolutionary leap also, at shoppers, they have a special beauty boutique where higher end products are available. kind of like sephora with loads of other options. hope you had a peaceful sunday with your family lisa. take care and have a great week.

@needzmoreglitter you soak a cotton ball in nail polish, lay it on the nail, and then wrap tin foil around ur fingertips to hold the foil on. wait like five minutes and all the polish comes right off. Its good to do for stubborn glitter polish which normally takes tons of scrubbing to get off.

I blow it out with the large round brush first--and then go over it quickly with the Enzo Milano Diva Pro flat iron--I have had the Chi and GHD--I like this one the best becasue it seems to give a "softer" straightening--LOL--if that makes any sense at all--it smooths and doesn't make it stick straight--I show it in my Hair Faves video if you want to see it! xoxo Lisa

I have to tell you, enjoy these times with your family, my kids are 16, 18 and 21 and they all work on Sundays so my hubby and I always have to go by ourselves. we miss the times when they were little and went with us.... Lisa I have a question about how you came up with the name Brooke for your daughter. Often there are names that are associated with certain stereotypes (that aren't necessarily correct), and I feel like the name Brooke is one of those names. It's kind of like how I would never want to name my child Roxy or Crystal because I wouldn't want people to hold negative stereotypes about my her...Was Brooke named after someone in your family? Or did you just like that name?

@jazzyp11 you can take off stubborn nail polish or acrylic/gel nails that way...its a way to get off the nail polish without getting the dark polish all over the place or scrubbing it off. :)

Lisa, First love the outfit! Are you using a straightener on your hair or just blow drying it straight? If you're using a straightener what brand are you using? I'm looking for a new one and trying to decide which brand to get. Chi is my preference right now but still looking around. Thanks! Linda

@Codyman1997 Hey Linda!! I blow it out with the large round brush first--and then go over it quickly with the Enzo Milano Diva Pro flat iron--I have had the Chi and GHD--I like this one the best becasue it seems to give a "softer" straightening--LOL--if that makes any sense at all--it smooths and doesn't make it stick straight--I show it in my Hair Faves video if you want to see it! xoxo Lisa

Happy Sunday Lisa! Thanks for taking the time out of your day to do another great video. My family and I go to church every Sunday also. My favorite part of the week! I have to tell you, enjoy these times with your family, my kids are 16, 18 and 21 and they all work on Sundays so my hubby and I always have to go by ourselves. we miss the times when they were little and went with us.... You' and John are great parents, Bless you both for taking your kids to church and being such great examples..

@pebblesNpretzel That is actually an ottoman that I grew up with--my brother and I used to lay on that & watch TV--I have had it "rebuilt" and recovered twice and Will seems to break it down every time--he and Brigitte spend A LOT of quality time on that watching cartoons and snuggling--she loves the kids so much! xoxo Lisa

It would be awesome if you could let us know the technique for taking off tough polishes with the foil. I have heard a lot of people mention it but I've never heard the actual steps! Do you find that it leaves your cuticles dry?

I love your sunday OOTD videos! I like seeing what everyone else wears to church. i go back and forth between casual and dressy...my church is pretty laid back. i try to be careful of my perfume as well at church especially since so many perfumes give me headaches. as always, you look awesome :)

Lisa I have a question about how you came up with the name Brooke for your daughter. Often there are names that are associated with certain stereotypes (that aren't necessarily correct), and I feel like the name Brooke is one of those names. It's kind of like how I would never want to name my child Roxy or Crystal because I wouldn't want people to hold negative stereotypes about my her...Was Brooke named after someone in your family? Or did you just like that name?

thank u for giving me the courage to wear Lorac's Hollywood blush. I have had it for a few months and had not touched it beacuase I was scared of it....lol. Lisa! That NUXE golden bottle thing came in my Birchbox! I'll read you what the description says: it's a "Multi-Usage Dry Oil Shimmer that can be applied to the face and body to give skin a silken feel and subtle glow. You can also work a couple drops through your hair for softness and shimmer." Hope that helps! I use it through my hair and it gives the prettiest shine in the sunlight!

Lovely outfit. Miss T made such beautiful towels. Those machines are killer. Not to mention the cost of the material and thread you have to use. You're makeup looks SO gorgeous here - I had to comment & tell you to use the Nuxe oil on the body anywhere your skin is exposed ... @jazzyp11 you can take off stubborn nail polish or acrylic/gel nails that way...its a way to get off the nail polish without getting the dark polish all over the place or scrubbing it off. :)
