what the hell is with people saying this is cod 4, this is the real deal u idiots, where do you think the creators of cod 4 get the ideas from, obviously they get it from videos and movies like this DIR..and as u can see in the video this is nothing like the cod 4 ac-130 mission at all because there wernt that many helicopters flying around in that mission. also way more houses and trees in cod4 mission. also the imagery isnt as clear as this.

It's not actually a bad plan, or a new one -- just immoral, but that doesn't have any place in war. It's been done throughout the ages to garner support when it starts to wane. Dress up some elites in enemy garb and take out some of your run-of-the-mill foot soldiers, possibly some civilians, and then stoke the fires of the public's outrage when you reveal it to be the enemy.

That battle was a small part of the entire war. Without the Russians, nobody would have pushed into Berlin. Without the Russians, the Germans would not have lost as many men as they did to the Russian winter.
It was a joint operation between many countries. Don't forget the Canadians and the Australians as well. One country would not have been able to do it alone, just as the infantry needs the artillery, the Army needing the Navy, and the Air Force.
