In that case, it would be objectional and abominal (and possibly ironic in a dark sort of way). The turkeys were not beheaded beforehand. They were brought live to the killing funnel. that They're clearly kicking after their throats are slit. The funnels are designed so that the farmer can slit the turkey's throat without too much incident, and allow the blood to drain out of the bird.
