Hey man, I wanted to help you out with a few things;

You know those bends in the beginning of the solo? If you concentrate while listening to the solo in the song you might hear that the first bend is like bended twice, if you know what I mean. Bend the 15 fret note twice quickly on the B string (or A, since you're in drop C) in the beginning of the solo, and bend the 20th fret twice too, quickly, and then bend the 23th fret twice too but a little more slowly. That's how Alexi plays it :)

I have no idea what DR stands for, but they are great. It has a brighter chime than Blue Steel strings which are way more expensive. I remember hearing from my friend saying there are Alexi Laiho custom DR strings, but I didn't find any at the store. And DRs are specifically made for metal tones.

Hey, it's kinda hard to explain but what you have to do is hit the string hard by pressing on the string with your pick and then you let it go. With your other hand, you wanna just slightly touch the top of the string and as soon as you pick lets go you sort of wiggle the string with your fingering hand, up and down really fast. without pressing down very much. Hope this helps. Keep practicing and you'll find your own techniques. : )

hey i can also help to explain , ok here goes, Its called "Pinch Harmonic" and alot of song use it and its a good thing to know, so what u do is u wanna hold ur pick very close to the tip and as soon as u pick "grase" the string with ur picking hand thumb and vibrate or "wigle" the note u are playing and you should get the song message me if your having any more trouble :)
