Buffy's not just "human", she has superhuman strength greater than that of a Vampire's. That's the purpose of her status "The Slayer"...it's one girl in all the world who has the power to take the Vampires on.

Oh and P.S. , she has dodged bullets too. We see Slayers on the show dodge bullets alot. Once, one of the Slayer's "Faith", dodged a bullet from point-blank range.
And as for strength examples, Buffy has punched through brick, bent prison bars very quickly, hefted steel girders with ease, bent rifles, broken through chains and lifted portcullis' estimated to be a couple of tons at least.

You just describe what even Nomak the first reaper is capable of. He pushed a pole several tons that almost crush Blade. Fed on 20/30 or more humans at one time (incredible metabolism).
I can't speak for the Reaper Vampire, but from what I gathered from watching the movie, that particular Vampire is stronger than Blade is, Blade beat him because of his skill and cunning.
Which has happened on Buffy on numerous occasions. In season 5, she took on a HellGod, who was for all intents and purposes, invulnerable and immortal. Who had the strength to bring down an entire building just by stomping her foot, and tear the walls off of buildings. Buffy managed to beat her...
Now like I said, who knows if these characters were to be pitted, what would happen. They both have faced immensely powerful foes. They both have superhuman physical traits (strength, speed, leaping, healing etc.) Obviously Buffy's disadvantage is Blade has invulnerability to traditional methods of killing vampires.
I might also be willing to wager that his fighting technique is slightly superior to hers. There's alot of factors.

regenerate as well at incredible speed like instantaneous regeneration of any limbs from his own blood even if it was to get cut off. I'm not against female heroines by the way. I like BloodRayne but not the film. The actual BloodRayne game character who in fact beat an immortal demon several stories high with godlike strength called Beliar. Even Rayne (a Dhampir) could probably be a good match for Buffy.
She can hold her own I GUESS (It's a boy versus girl thing) due to her speed and strength, but still, Blade generally enters a fight better prepared than Buffy ever is. A Slayer has a natural advantage over any vampire because her powers are specifically designed to counter those of vampires. Only a really powerful or cunning vampire like Spike or Angelus could kill a Slayer. Plus, Blade's a half-breed, so that's already a disadvantage, isn't it?

That's a better contest.Both Blade and Selene are supernaturally strong, fast, intelligent, and proficient with firearms. Blade wins for me because his martial arts skills and sword give him the edge (pun intended) in hand-to-hand combat.

Buffy's not just "human", she has superhuman strength greater than that of a Vampire's. That's the purpose of her status "The Slayer"...it's one girl in all the world who has the power to take the Vampires on.
Now who knows which one of them would win, but I'm just saying don't count her out of the fight just yet. She has physical strength and speed equal to Blade's, so in the end the fight would come down to two things...

Oh and P.S. , she has dodged bullets too. We see Slayers on the show dodge bullets alot. Once, one of the Slayer's "Faith", dodged a bullet from point-blank range.
And as for strength examples, Buffy has punched through brick, bent prison bars very quickly, hefted steel girders with ease, bent rifles, broken through chains and lifted portcullis' estimated to be a couple of tons at least.
Just stating some facts before people jump to their conclusions.

So you're telling me Buffy's strength, speed, recovery, stamina, etc. is equivalent or greater than that of a reaper vampire (they're suppose to be super vampires way stronger than normal vampires immune to silver, garlic, EDTA, etc. except for sunlight only Blade has that ability except for Drake aka Dracula). You just describe what even Nomak the first reaper is capable of. He pushed a pole several tons that almost crush Blade. Fed on 20/30 or more humans at one time (incredible metabolism).

I can't speak for the Reaper Vampire, but from what I gathered from watching the movie, that particular Vampire is stronger than Blade is, Blade beat him because of his skill and cunning.
Which has happened on Buffy on numerous occasions. In season 5, she took on a HellGod, who was for all intents and purposes, invulnerable and immortal. Who had the strength to bring down an entire building just by stomping her foot, and tear the walls off of buildings. Buffy managed to beat her...

I love Buffy and have seen every episode, but I think Blade would kill her pretty quickly. She isn't used to fighting enemies who have weapons, let alone submachine guns. She has fought some demons with axes, but they are the slow lumbering types. Maybe Buffy, Willow and Spike might have a chance against him, with Xander throwing a hammer at Blade or something. Watching how both of them fight, do you honestly think Buffy could put one of those old-fashioned wooden stakes in Blade's heart? She might stand a chance if Blade was fighting off twenty armed guards at the same time, but one on one she's out of her depth. You can't even compare Buffy's villains to Blade. If Spike ran into Blade he'd be ash before he could make a sarcastic quip.

Watch the fight scenes and see who spends the least amount of time on any one opponent. Time and time again you'll see that blade practically walks right through his opponents he's so skilled they mostly never land even 1 hit, Buffy although very strong and fast is just not on Blades level. If this were a sarcasm or swimsuit competition it'd be another story.

That's a better contest.Both Blade and Selene are supernaturally strong, fast, intelligent, and proficient with firearms. Blade wins for me because his martial arts skills and sword give him the edge (pun intended) in hand-to-hand combat.

Buffy is also supernaturally strong, blade is almost as good, there has been times that Buffy has killed a baddie in around a second does not mean anything. so anyway both strong both fast the fight would probably last a while but buffy would come out on top, and blade the t.v series it is worse than charmed

Abby would kick Buffy's scrawny little ass and I'm sticking to that story. The Scoobies would get run the fuck over by the Nightstalkers. I've been watching Buffy for years, and trust, the Nightstalkers and Blade could beat Buffy and her merry dumbasses with their hands tied behind their backs.
