Apple is not stupid - they realize this is a goldmine. Hopefully, this will all get sorted out soon.

It's impossible to play all the commodore 64 games. You won't be able to play any AD&D Games. You won't be able to play Gunship that games requires lots of keys to play that game. Echolon requires a lip stik device to speak into you won't be able to play that either. You won't be able to play Commando because that requires you to press the spacebar to throw the gernade. Wow you can only play easy controlling games. You won't be able to make your own games like the original Commodore 64.

Gunship - You can have a keyboard as a control

Commando - Now this is stupid. There's keyboard control, and they can simply change the control to tap or map it to the big red button.

Re: Commando. I think what he means is, the big red button is used to shoot; how do you press spacebar (for grenade) when the joystick is on the screen in the keyboard's place?
