  • Good song

  • Fantastic!

  • Very nice video :) I have a question : it's okay if I let the brine shrimp eggs to hatch with no air pump ?

  • how do u sex angelfish

  • It will the ones that are sick and era them or protein when it does its next batch

  • hey nice angels i was wondering how much bbs to give the fry

  • Wow... They turned out to have pretty colors!! Nice black stripe with alot of orange, great vid man.

  • um.... yeah the mom is eating some babies.. wtf... why?

  • um...... why is the mother eating the babies that are swimming on the bottom?

  • @britters220 Don't worry, she spits them back out. :]

  • @TheTLWFLOWERS

....are you sure.... cuz i cant see it T_T im scared.

  • Great video:) When selling the babies back to the fish store what's a good size and how much do you get per fish/lot?

  • do you move the heater with the parents if the babys are on the heater

  • @mecha185 Yes. I unplug the heater (the heat will kill the eggs) and usually move just the heater with the eggs and leave the parents alone. Sometimes the stress of moving one or both the parents will cause them to eat the eggs after they are moved.

  • @ecuacura wonder if u could share some info with me..we have 8 pairs of angelfish..only 1 pair will parent raise..i wondered if u knew or have experienced this situation..all of our pairs will let their babies grow into free swimming and then they eat them..we feed them brine shrimp, they arent disturbed, we have fake plants in the breeder tanks..weve done almost everything by the book as well as tried things of our own but they still eat the fry when they are swimming and very active

  • Wow, thanks for making this video. Helped me out allot. Can't wait for my pair to spawn again in a couple weeks.

  • i have baby angelfish but only 12 survived.

  • hey i have a question so i want to get some brineshrimp for better breeding and the website only sells in very expensive amounts what if i dont have very much money to buy brineshrimp eggs?

  • @rexlink1 Sometimes you can find smaller amount at your local pet store, or starter kits with a small amount of eggs for around $10 US

  • also those angel fish are amazing!!! i loved watching them grow up im gonna get some angels soon because my uncle is breeding them i just have to wait till he gets some older ones or get s fry.

  • hey where do you get the foam filter thing?

  • @rexlink1 Its actually a carwash sponge that I cut down to size and cut a slit in to fit over the intake of the filter

  • they make good fish parents what is the max size of angel fish

  • @HEAVYMETALGODS86feb9 The largest male I ever had was bigger than the palm of my hand (not including his fins.)

  • you make this look so easy!

  • @justjaye1 Years and years and YEARS of practice ;)

  • cool vid man

  • cool

  • such a beautiful fish

  • how can i find brine shrimp... i live in saudi arabia Riyadh and i try to find but fail... do u have any idea?

  • @salmanKSA1 I always order my brine shrimp from

    brineshrimpdirect's website

  • nicee mate

  • that was really cool. i really enjoyed watching the little babies grow up! and they're so cute.

question though. during the "fry start free-swimming" part, were the parents gathering up the babies and moving them back to the corner?

  • @blazejaganshi Yes. A good set of parents will constantly attend to the eggs/fry. They will fan them, pick off the dead eggs, and sometimes move the fry 2 or 3 times before they become free swimmers. This is to keep them from getting covered by mold from dead eggs and/or eaten by predators.

  • is it cheaper to grow brine shrimp or buy them

  • aww

  • Nice video it was pretty cool I am going to try to breed my angelfish but 3 of them keep on fighting.

  • I'm amazed that the parents tolerated moving them and their spawn to another tank. I didn't think convicts would put up with that, let alone angels.

  • @flipflowsk8boarding u buy the eggs and hatch them yourself, loads for sale on ebay, or u can go to your local pet shop and buy them :) Theres also vids on Youtube on how to hatch them too.

  • hey ur house is just like my friends house

  • that was cool

  • male=koi & female= silver stripe. I still have the "family" together the fry are about 3 weeks old and they were moved from their 100gallon tank to a graveless 30 gallon tank. Is there a problem leaving the adults with the fry?????

  • when u breeding them when they are born with the parents do u have a heater in the tank

  • Awsome video i need some help with my angels i have 3 videos called pregenant angels i know they lay eggs lol

  • How did you know if it a female or male? Please help i got small angel fishes and i really want to know and if you saw it on a website then please tell the website

  • didi you let them eat the fries? ? ? ?

  • @eltraketo1

You most likely have a in-bred angelfish if it's eating the eggs more than once or the water qualities are poor or your tank is in a family room or a noisy room where you stamp etc. Could be a lot of reasons Google how to breed them for a better answer. :-)

  • how do you know male from female????????????

  • Hey guys I have a question.. I have a pair of angelfish male and female..they're not that small..the female isn't swimming with both fins..like the left one is perfect but the right one is like clutched against her..plz respond..I really want young angels..

  • 1:48 I love how the male comes over as if to say "Get your eyes off my girlfriend!"

  • i've never had any angelfish before but i'm planning on buying a pair to breed them i will try to repair my 250 litre tank then i will put a heater and some light is 2 sponge filters enough? i was thinking one to the right and the other one to the left side of the tank, and no gravel just some slate rocks i need all the info i can get plz send me a message, response.

  • @TheFishKeeper100

If you use Gravel it's harder to maintain the water for the Fry's the dirt, etc get trapped inside it.

  • What are you feeding them with ? That`s yalk ?

  • wow.. man i dreaming abt this angel frys.. i want to breed too... i have 6 huge angel fishes.. in my community tank... how do i know they are ready to breed... please if u have any link that educate my about angle fish breeding.. please send me... thanks a million for this amazing video

  • Great setup and vid. Out of curiosity, what substrate did you use for your potted plants?

  • nice!

did you have to adjust the water ph in order to get the parents to spawn?

  • nice vid!

    i wonder...

can you just start off the parents in a 10 gal tank? instead of moving them?

  • @hardboiled89

You can and since this video I have raised another batch of fry that way. In a tank that small, I removed the parents once the eggs were hatched and free swimming.

  • @ecuacura

Around the 14-16 days mark of the Fry is a good time to remove the parents.

  • @ecuacura

do you feed them when they are spawning??plz reply..i really need to know..

  • @AltumAngelz96 Sure! I usually just feed flake food (Ken's Colormax or Ken's Angel Diet). If you are breeding them in a seperate smaller tank, feed sparingly, only what they will eat in a few minutes so the water quality isnt comrpomised. When they spawn in this tank (125g), I feed them normally since there are also other fish in there.

  • very cool - nice work. Great music, where'd you get it?

  • @Jazzy78910

Music in the beginning is "Drifting" by Andy McKee. Music at the end is "Lenny" by Stevie Ray Vaughan.
