they shouldn't have cut this scene, regardless of the implications. it's one of the rare scenes that Scott Bakkula (sp.?) acts well, and the chemistry between the two of them is great.
i think Scott overracts so much of the time that this is a refreshing change.
you could argue that she wasn't showing emotion, merely deciding that there was no need to add to Archer's problems, and thereby reduce his efficiency. i wish thy'd kept the scene.
One of my fav eps. Had great music too.

I think they cut it because she was showing human emotion, which Vulcuns don't have. Good scene, but glad they cut it.
