If this is what you consider a rough cut, keep performing them...Very good and puts people in a good mood....if i could i would dance my happy self all over the room
lol you are having to much fun with this one lol Love it!!! You did this song the justice it deserves, and had a great time doing it. I don't see a hell ya button on here so thumbs up my friend......
I hope you read these. My name is Tina and i think you are my cousin. Lynn told me to look here for you. You sound great. Oh by the way I am birdie-vern's daughter
I remember this stuff from when I was young. Good job. Thanks to Deb for sharing! I don't know enough about Blood, Sweat & Tears to know what I'm talking about, but these guys remind me of old Chicago.
Oh Yeahhhhh! That's the ticket! This was a birthday present for you! Thanks of course for your kind words but I cringe whenever I see this. When I have my guiar in hand I'm less likely to act like an idiot. Thanks for sharing this too Deb. The laughing at the end is kind of a habit. People at work sometimes call me Ed McMahon. (Not sure how to take that LOL). Hope you and yours are/will be having a wonderful holiday season. God Bless,
Wow, that was terrific Steve! You sound just like the original singer, superb singing there! A fun performance too, loved the ending (LOL)! Well done, I enjoyed it very much! ... FrAnK (★★★★★)
Oh Steve - just got off night shift and I was both impressed as always with your singing and "cracked up" at the fun....just what I needed to end my work week. You sound a lot like David Clayton Thomas here as well...or he sounds a lot like you.. Take care....Bill
Thanks for sharing... you're right... we never know what to do when we can't hide behind our guitars.... But you keep posting like this, and I'll have to start posting myself.... Take care, Oly!
What can we say Steve..what a character you are. 5 ***** for this one The faces at the end are hilarious. Looks like you had great fun making this one. The quality of the cameras is very good by the way. Ben has been trying out some backing tracks recently when busking in the town and although it sounds great for some strange reason, the public are not that impressed! Hat suits you by the way.
Hey Jamie, I can't tell you how much a comment lilke this means to me coming from a guy of your caliber and talent. I look forward to working with you in the future my friend. I 'm not comfortable working with a karaoke format for the visual part. I end up screwing around too much. LOL! Oh well you gott'a have fun too I guess. The whole world DOES know about you. That is why this is such an honor for you to take the time to comment. God Bless and Manly Hugs right back at you! LOL!
LOL.. Steve thats exactly why i twittle my fingers while not playing a guitar... cus u always feel so self conscience just sitting there...LOL.. i think this came out wonderful! and loved the silliness! we can always all use a good smirk or laugh now and then u know!!!! LOL at the ending!!
Hey Kathy, I know what you mean about twittling. If I got any closer to frame out below the neck I'm afraid I might start scaring people with my mug. I behave so much better with a guitar in my hand LOL! Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to listen and comment my friend. I have a lot of catching up to do and that includes some of your new videos.
You don't need your guitar to be a crutch. This was fantastic. If I were blind folded I would have thought it WAS Blood Sweat & Tears. If you ever decide to form a cover band, you could call it Blood, Steve & Tears!
I hope you don't take it down, I had a good laugh at some of those expressions. :) You're one of the best male vocalists on YT Steve, probably one of the few who can cover the great lead men of the 70s and 80s and do them justice.
Hey thanks Rob for the truly nice comment. I spent so much time singing a lot of those tunes out of the 70's and 80's that some are second nature. Always a joy to see that you took the time to listen and comment. I still treasure our Ring of Power Collab. That was fun!
This is so much fun! I am going to be smiling for a week, lol. Great picture with the cam, though, Steve, and good sound too...oh, and if you take this down, please, please do another video with this song - you sing it to perfection.
Thanks Sharron, You always seem to be one of the first to comment. Haven't decided yet if I should take it down but I would replace it because this is one of the great songs that kind'a defined the
70's. Hope to get to our collab within a week. thanks for your patience.
loved this man, excellent vocals, great timing, nice tone in your voice! ace cover
