I watch this once a week, and its still amazing. What an incredible man! The music from the band is amazing, and it astounds me that such a talented man is still so humble about his accomplishments.
Thanks for this... was a pleasure viewing... is there really any better music out there than the The Moody Blues. They had created such a huge impact on my life. I love all music genres and believe The Moody Blues are in their own..
Thanks for posting these!! For a young (back when I first encountered what would become my all-time favorite group) American kid, the Moody Blues had a profound affect in my life and love for music!!
I recall reading something WAY BACK about Justin....that he could slip into a room FULL of people...creep around the wall to a corner and STILL become the focus of attention. I can see that. He's a beautiful man, physically, spiritually, emotionally....They just don't make them like this anymore.
Justin Hayward is so hot back then and no one knew, there was no MTV or youtube back then, so there was no way of knowing this guy was so cute, they would have been MUCH bigger then they were if there were MTV !!! His daughter is gorgeous too! He should have had tons of kids! ha! Not to mention he is sooo nice too!
Oh yeah, the amazing part of his marriage is the fact that they lasted through countless women throwing themselves at Justin, Justin's LSD days, and all his world tours, record company mess, and his entire career. Bravo to the woman that "Nights in White Satin" was written about. If a song with such raw emotion and passion is written about you, and that song becomes a #1 hit several times and is considered timeless, you did something right if I do say so myself....
The man wrote music that men could respect, women could cling to and melt to, and music that was emotive, creative, experimental, and quite original. The man is the most underrated, under appreciated, and great singer/songwriters of all time....
LOL! I used to hear my mom and her friends use the word "lovely" and thought it sounded "old" but then realized as I got older, it really is a nice adjective...lol! I am not British either.
What amazing footage for we Justin Hayward fans! How sweet that he is still married to Marie for 30 (actually about 35 years). She must be a very special woman to be able to maintain a solid relationship with such a superstar. Doremi inherited her father's fabulous looks.
Thank you very much for your sharing this marvelous celebration with Justin. It was a tremendous honor to him and the untold stories of lives touched by the Moodies and especially from his music live on!
Wow! This is great! You finally get to see the whole family. I didn't know that there was even a "This Is Your Life" in the UK. I do remember the ones out here in the states during the 60s and early 70s hosted by Ralph Edwards. They were fun to watch.
Thank you so much scottishrose60 for posting the four parts to this special "This is your Life Justin Hayward", I have enjoyed viewing this more than I can say, what a magical singer/songwriter is this man...
Carol, I appreciate your posting all 4 parts of this show. I'd never seen it and what a treat! As the first person commented, it's like getting to know Justin a bit better, and that was sweet. Many thanks to you!
You have to have a program for capturing streaming flash. I purchased the Applian Replay Media Catcher. Just Google that and you'll find what you need, and for what you get, the price is not out of line. Enjoy experimenting; I hated to go back to favorite videos and find them 'missing' for various reasons, so I found the Applian software. Hope this helps.
Fantastic! Thanks for sharing! ~ JTD
