I liked Dogget and Reyes more than Mulder and Scully. Imo they had to show up after season 5. They gave a load of fresh air in the show, rather than the two overused agents that season after season they always came up with nothing.

I got chills even though I know what's gonna happen and everything. Watching the promos of a show is much better than don't even know what's gonna happen. I know that if i have watched this promos by then I would've been so exciting, so waiting for the next ep. So bad I was a new born when the serie started.
I want a whole new season :( I want to have to look for spoilers and not knowing what's going to happen :(
Now I feel like I missed something really important. It's kind of sad haha

Season 8 would have made a great ending.
Season 9 IMO for the most part was a waste of time.

I have rencetly watched season 8 and although many fans didn't like I. I do season 8 is easily one of the darkest say after season 4. The episodes quite strong for the most part just as much as the previous seasons.. What can I say the X-Files is such a well written show even some of the weak episodes are better than most of the rubbish on TV day. Introducing John Doggett worked well in my opinion and although it's kind of weird rarely seeing Mulder you can't wait to see him return again.

Season 8 was fantastic. X files at its best.
Dogget grew on me though I hated him at first.
