  • Thanks for the response.

  • Brilliant video. These are plain 'soup' beans you'd find in an average supermarket?

  • @seoul588 Thanks! Glad you like the video. The lentils were bought in the grocery store. The wheat berries are organic and bought from a farmer and the mung beans are organic and we got them at a health food type grocery store.

  • In wake of E-coli , it is always recommended to steam your sprouts for 3 to 4 minutes.

Contrary to our believes it does not result in loss of nutrients.

Steam helps in opening up of cellular structure and real ease the nutrients which are easily absorbed by our body.

  • Very healthy thx

  • Great video, that salad looks delicious! Thanks for the nutritional info, that was good to know.

  • That was exactly what I was looking for! Great video. Where can I find wheat berry and how can I add them to my homemade bread?

  • Thank you very much for your very good video!

  • @learn2010a Your welcome!

  • do you use white or red wheat berries?

  • @kapanzoe I think they are red but you can use any variety of wheat berries--all works the same way...always best if they are organic, however.

  • so you rinsed every day till ready to eat?

  • @p597jimvel Yes, rinse them a couple of times a day.

  • I like this video =)

  • @4GreenEarth2 Thanks!

  • That is correct in its de jure form but not de facto....hehe...

  • how do u dry the grains?

  • @TheChottu12 You buy them already dried.

  • @HMFamilyLife i mean during sprouting do u just rinse and then leave them to dry in the jar

  • @TheChottu12 --- No, you don't want them to dry out in the jar or the sprout will dry out too. You need to rinse them a couple of times a day so they will sprout. But make sure you rinse out the water so they won't rot, (lay the jar on its side) and then once the seeds have sprouted to desired length (see pictures) they can come out of the jar and are ready for eating.

  • it is a wheat kernel, not a berry. berries grow on trees, kernels are for grasses....
