I am not advocating for the current system, I will only argue facts as to why what the government is proposing will be far worse. @hydrus77 I'm being sarcastic...I'm an atheist...but most christians in the US seem to legitimately forget that their religion promotes helping people who can't ask or don't want to ask for help. The kind of behavior I would describe as "flagrantly ignorant". I've found that speaking, honestly from my perspective, doesn't make people want to agree or comment (probably because nothing extra is needed) so now I usually say the opposite of what I believe, that usually makes people agree with me.

Social welfare and socialized healthcare is only further encouraging the reproduction and extension of lifespan of genetically inferior specimens. The President made the point that everyone has to buy car insurance and so everyone should have to buy healthcare insurance to. The difference is you don't have to drive so there for insurance is only mandatory if you take advantage of that privelage. Do you think it is fair to those who do not wish to participate and those of future generations who do not want the government to tax them for their healthcare to be forced in buying either a private plan or the public option?

A nationalized health care program will put us into further debt and will also probably fail. There are better options than putting our health care into the hands of the federal government. Have you read the Baucus bill or HR3200?? Do you think our government spends your money better then you?? Have you ever looked at the cost of socialized medicine in other countries. France the favorite model has 120%debt to GDP or $33,000 Euros for every man women and child. 20% of their payroll for state health & 7.5% supplemental and their not paying for 2 wars! You should email Jeff Merkley sometime about Everify. With almost 13% unemployment you would think he would want to protect oregonian jobs. Everify is 98% accurate in identifying if someone is a US citizen, but he says not accurate enough so foreigners are still taking up many of the jobs people born here could be doing. There is no other system in the history of the US that has been more efficient or accuarte then Everify. He is a career politician looking for amnesty and votes.
