Looks like E1M1 in Doom 1, and this is what happens because you've modified the map - each player for co-op has a unique spawn point. This is a duplicate player 1 spawn point.
that happens if map's spawning points are messed up. Btw if I remember correctly then monsters won't see you when it's like that, they only see the marine you were shooting.
